There are quite a few games on the WiiWare service that not many have tried or are simply underrated or overlooked. What games have you personally tried that you would consider to be an overlooked gem?
Bomberman Blast! The formula is classic, but I thought Blast was a solid, solid WW title. Online competition, and Mii- compatibility! All my other WW games got good reviews and are the more popular ones.
Those that have seen my posts on the old WiiWareWorld won't be surprised to hear me say PLATTCHEN twist 'n' paint, but other than that, I'd have to say Art Style Cubello (even though it was the most popular of the trilogy, I do believe), TV Show King (still selling!) and Home Sweet Home.
Well, I suppose it's not really that overlooked- but it hasn't had as much success here in the states it seems. I'm judging based on the Top 20 list from the past few months. Everyone seems to enjoy watching aquariums on their tubes instead.
Currently Playing: [360] Mass Effect, Shadow Complex, Trials HD | [Wii] N/A | [DSi] N/A
Depends on who you expect to appreciate it. If you mean underappreciated by the public I'd say Toki Tori, if you mean underappreciated by reviewers I'd point at Onslaught (Metacritic average 70).
TOKI TORI hands down.. The best WiiWare game right now.. Hard and Fun.., harder than WofG. Im still trying to beat the last hard levels.
I don't know why that one didn't come to mind. o_O Toki Tori really is overlooked big time. I think I may check out Jungle Speed too, since Knuckles mentioned it.

Magnetica Twist. If you play it clasic NES wiimote style, it plays quite fine and the other control scheme (sorta) was the only complaint that I've heard. Try it, it's quite fun and possibly my favorite puzzler, and I don't often care for the genre.
[21:14] pixelman: I blame fheblackdragon
[21:15] pixelman: That's not an f by the way, it's a fancy t.
[21:15] Objection: Tales of Graces "fancy t"
[21:15] Objection: Tinal Tantasy
[21:15] theblackdragon: lol OB
[21:15] pixelman: OB knows what he's asking about.
In terms of underrated I would have to agree on LIT, and I would also argue High Voltage Hot Rod Show. Although it deserves its five (I would argue 6) out of 10 there aren't many racing games in Wiiware, and it is does feature a good (if not simplistic) first player mode.
Currently playing: Wii Sports Resort, A Boy and his Blob, New Super Mario Bros Currently waiting for: Fragile, Tatsunuko vs. Capcom Just beaten: Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
I'd have to say Gyrostarr. it get's pretty quick (i've never been more aware of my need to blink), its fun, and its the first good tate we've got of the Quantum3 engine
I use the same username on TVTropes and youtube. look me up!
My virginity is one thing, but I can't let the pedophiles have my Wii FriendCode®
I don't find that Gyrostarr feels particularly fast, except in the bonus levels which are too long to sustain the excitement of just collecting energy.
Toki Tori and LIT are two hidden gems I can think of. I never even heard of Toki Tori until I have read a review that praised this game as well as hearing from people online about how great the game was that I finally got it. And LIT was gifted to me by a friend, I never heard of this game until he told me it was a lovechild of ObsCure that got me interested.
