Topic: Wii Waa!

Check this out! it's a video i encountered on YouTube.
seems kinda cool. it's a game for the Wii called " Wii Waa" that uses a new control!!

Too bad it's fake. It you watch closely, you can see a mouse pointer in a couple of places.
Check between 0:50 and 0:53 and you'll see it.

Wow. I would not get that. It's kinda creepy.

As long as they get rid of the peripheal, give us an better title name, does not have excessive motion controls, and give you more freedom for movement, it might be good.

All silliness aside, I read on Gonintendo.com that it was having a hard time getting published. It doesn't seem to promising.

OK that's... um... I wouldn't get it.

If it is real I am surprised its having a hard time getting published when you take into account the cacophony of crap that does get released, it looks fun for kids and like something kids would go crazy for, it's also kinda original and would stand out from other generic kiddy games. The only thing I am sceptical about is whether it actually controls as good as it is shown to in that video, not that that would stop it being released and selling bucket loads mind.

As I mentioned in the original thread about this game... I would happily buy this for my niece and would happily sit beside her and supervise, looks different, looks fun. I hope it's not fake and that they get a publisher, because this would make an awesome birthday present, she would freak out!!!

It seems kind of interesting to me. Puppetry gaming... would that be considered a new genre?

Side note: This is by Zoink Games, the people responsible for the (hopefully?) upcoming Psychonauts-like Wii game The Kore Gang.

Obvious jokes aside, the game looks like it could be very good even though it's not aimed at the core gaming audience.

I remember how the remote used to be inserted on the opposite end of the toy, but now they changed it to the mouth.
