Super Paper Mario - terribly boring and poorly balanced in some areas. Sonic Unleashed - 99% of the game consists of the terrible werehog levels, and that killed the game for me. Wii Sports Resort - Poor replay value, and MotionPlus slides all over the place to the point of unplayability.
Super Paper Mario for me is a solid 9/10. The graphics, creaitivity, dialogue, music and characters were all charming and fantastic. Yet there were a few annoying things about it, like the crazy amount of text, a few of the levels were pretty bland and boring(That Space level especially comes to mind) And what's annoying about switching to 3D is that you do it all the time incase you miss something ;p It's still far more creative, daring, different and has a better sound track than 'New Super Mario Bros Wii' which is soo stock and playing it safe. It's still one of my favorite games on the Wii.
As for Wii Sports Resort...it's also a fantastic game. But I agree, when playing 'Sword Play' motionPlus can sometimes get out of whack, and you have to keep Resyncing it which is really annoying. It only happens in that one mode(which is awesome) Stand off(forget the name) where you face tons of enemies. But remember you're not suppsed to have any lights on near by because that alone will interfier with the Wii Sensor bar. The only dud in Wii Sports Resort is Cycling ;p
Conduit - overhyped game that is no where near as good as we were made to believe, not to mention there are so many bugs that trained monkeys would have found play testing this game.
Madworld - Seriously, developers think this is what we want when we say we want hardcore games? take away the blood, gore, language, & art style, & you have a game that really wouldn't have even gotten any attention at all.
Flandre Scarlet, she's cute, she's colorful, she can blow up entire cities, she's also a vampire. Start running sparklepants.

Take away the blood, gore, language, & art style, and you wouldn't have a game anymore.
NBA 2010. Played on practice session kobe bryant and havent touched it since. Not really sure why, maybe then awkward controls.Just didnt feel right. Wish I would have gotten New Super Mario Bros, instead .......
Awww, this looks like the Wiiware/Virtual console thread i made last week about Download titles you regret buying.
Well, before i came to japan, there were retail games that i sold that i now regret selling. I needed to get rid of some stuff since i would only carry 2 bags that couldn't be more than 40 kilos. I wish i had stuffed them in my underwear or something now...Warioware SM, and Metroid Prime 3 mostly, i miss those games.
I can say that i am glad i never bought Boom Blox Bash Party. I rented it off of one of those American 7-11 g-box things for 2 dollars and...thats all i think its worth spending it on. It was so pointless and silly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 8 years old.
I did buy Dead Rising for the Wii, used, and i took it back within 2 days. I finished it in that time, well within the 7 day limit that Gamespot has (had? don't know if they still do that) to take used games back for a refund. I'm so glad i didn't keep that. It was silly fun for a little bit, but i would never want to keep it.
I've been pretty frugal with my retail purchases. Download stuff...not so much.
3DS FC - 1547-6126-3842 Largate de mi casa!!
Mother 3 fan. It's an amazing game. 糸井さん、こんな素敵なゲームを作ってくれてありがとう!
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Usually with Fighting games, im on board. I loved Soul Caliber and even loved the Wii spin off, but this, all it seems to be is a button masher. To get a special, I just find myself randomly moving the C-stick and pressing two buttons. Can't wait to trade it in next week.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Banana Blitz, hated the controls and the mini games, also to a much lesser extent Super Paper Mario, really hit and miss IMO, platforming wasn't great the 2D to 3D was kinda interesting, but don't think worked too great in practice, also the RPG element felt tacked on, nice art and characters though.
I haven't regretted any of my retail purchases so far, but I have rented a few I'm glad I didn't buy. I don't know why, but I just didn't enjoy de Blob...I think it would have worked better with shorter levels and less motion control. Great for what it was, but it just wasn't my thing.
Trauma Center: Second Opinion...I just felt like the game worked better on the DS, with the tactile feeling of the touch screen.
Boom Blox...I heard so many good things and it sounded like a blast. I am so glad I didn't buy it...
The one Wii game I've sold is actually the Resident Evil remake, which is just a two-disc GameCube game on one disc anyway. I realized that my M-rated fun during the school year will not be on the big screen and will not be as involved as Resident Evil. I got the DS version of the original instead, and find it much more playable with the map always visible--not to mention a smaller number of areas and no Crimson Heads to worry about. Heck, I even like the cheese factor. I don't regret my original purchase, as I did enjoy playing it (when I got the opportunity) and it led me to purchase a great DS game for weekend play.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
@Luigi78 You didn't like Twilight Princess? Well, i count it as a Gamecube game anyway, but i enjoy it. I guess you must really love that c-button ocarina eh?

@Tsuchinoko Its not that its a bad game by any means, I just found it very unispired and the last half was a real chore to get through.Never been bored by a Zelda game before but this managed it. But yes your right it is really a Gamecube game. While I did like the C-cutton my fave instrument is now the panpipes from Spirit Tracks, pity it was rather underused, its cool.
My two worst Wii games which I've since traded back in are;
Madworld (decent gameplay, but too much violence for me and swearing for swearing's sake.) House of the Dead Overkill ( Reloading with A button is a pain, the game stutters along, and way too much Mother F'in and other swearing)
Neither feel like Sega games of old, you can tell they've used outside developers. I can understand why these games did not sell so well if they are 18 rated on the Wii.
It's funny to see some people really disappointed by games that I enjoyed. Others will probably really like the games I wasn't into though, so it balances out. Takes all kinds of gamers, right?
My disappointments: (1) Mario Kart Wii -- Can't stand single player modes, although I admit that multiplayer can be fun. Unfortunately we moved and don't have any friends here interested in dropping by and playing... so it's pretty much never played now. (2) Wii Fit -- My wife and I have no self-motivation when it comes to sticking to a program like this, so it was hard to get started. Once we did start, however, moving to a new apartment left us without a living room big enough to exercise in. (3) Super Mario Galaxy -- It's extremely well-made, but just wasn't very much fun to play. Finished the game quickly and haven't picked it up since. 2D Mario is the way to go, as I can always enjoy replaying a few levels from those games. (4) Mario Party 8 -- After finding Dokapon Kingdom, Mario Party ws totally unnecessary. Traded in for great value, but I wish I had just bought Dokapon Kingdom to start with! (5) ManHunt 2 -- Lots of hype about violence and interesting controls, but graphics were neutered and gameplay didn't live up to expectations. I guess it's not a regret though, because I paid less than the trade-in value. (6) Nights -- Some people will probably like this game. It's not for me though. Another case of buying for less than the trade-in value, so it's wasn't really something I regret.
Okami- I didn't really like the wolf parts in Twilight Princess, and since basically this game is like a big copy of the wolf sections from that game, I didn't really enjoy it much. And fighting enemies was just such a bore. I might try it later, though...
Wii Sports Resort- While its a fun game, I thought that it just didn't have enough content for a full 50 bucks. Luckily, though I got it 10 bucks off brand new.
Animal Crossing City Folk- I don't regret buying the two previously mentioned games as much as this. There is NO difference between this and the DS version that I have except for a slightly bigger town and a city that you can go to. Does not justify the 50 bucks at all.
It's funny to see some people really disappointed by games that I enjoyed.
I also see that people really don't stray too far from the beaten path. It's almost as if most people here don't buy anything but Mario and the odd Sega game around here. Nothing on any of the other lists comes remotely close to sucking as bad as Battle Rage does. Nothing.

Okami came before Twilight Princess. TP was the copy and lesser game.
