I recently bought a new Wii Remote and I also bought a Gigaware recharge kit which comes with 2 battery packs that you just put on the wii remote and you put the wii remote on the charge stand to recharge it. It seems that the only way the second Wii Remote will work is if I squeeze it. If i stop the Wii Remote turns off. How do I fix this? BTW Both the battery packs work with only one Wii Remote so I think it's the Wii Remote that's messed up, Not the battery pack.
i had a set of rechargeable that didn't work because their metal contacts didn't protrude far enough out to hit the remote's contacts. if the contacts look smushed you could try bending them back out, but that doesn't sound like the problem since both packs work fine in the one remote. does that remote work with normal batteries?

Yes it does. Just not with the rechargeable battery packs.
