Alot of developers are still not jumping on the wii motion plus. It has now been out for a year and all it does is make the controls better so why do you think that the usage is so low and if so do you want to see more?
That is TLinkerbell to you! [17:17] theblackdragon: considering i have neither an xbox nor a ps3 :3 [17:17] Corbie: Nintendo fangirl alert!!!! [17:17] James Newton: Uh oh The James Ne...
That's the way it is with all peripherals. Developers don't want to support it until it gets popular, and because no one wants to take the chance, it never will. That's one of the main reasons Move and Kinect will fail.

The Tiger Woods series is the ambassador for motion plus. So where is a baseball game using motion plus? Wii Sports Resort is full of great mini sports games with motion plus. When is someone going to expand on one of those games?

Except several developers are already jumping on them. Especially Move where they can just patch or rerelease games with Motion support so they can add yet another selling point to their games. If only it was that easy on the Wii, maybe The Force Unleashed could become playable?
Hmmm well you might want to check zelda skyward sword and fling smash ( http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/spansmasher/index.html?tag... ) and well, they both support motion plus, so if those games are good I probably get a motion plus, or etter another control with a motion plus
I wish developers had more creative uses for it. We know it works for swordsplay and sports titles, but why not use it for other things in a game? Red Steel 2 had a few good ideas, but a few bad ideas too.
To be honest, now that there's Move and Kinect either out, or almost out, I don't see many third parties looking at Motion Plus for motion gaming any longer.
Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are more capable consoles for FPSers, "mature games," online play and so on and so forth. With higher quality motion controllers (and yes, I've used all three) than the Wii, developers can do more with these advanced consoles.
The Wii will remain king of casual games and games aimed at the young 'uns - those games never had traction with PS3 or Xbox audiences before, and they won't now, but at the same time, those games haven't traditionally seen value in Motion +, and I don't see that changing now either.
So, as I said, little point in developers or publishers, other than Nintendo, supporting Motion +.

The first Force Unleashed was already pretty good with just normal motion controls, so I was hoping for this one to use Motion Plus, but they've even abandoned it to the point where the lightsaber swings are now button mapped while the Force Lightning is now motion controlled. I know you can go overboard with the motion controls, but using them to swing a lightsaber is such a good use that most people don't care that you're doing it so much, as Motion Plus control would've been amazing. I'd much rather have one lightsaber with Motion Plus control than dual lightsabers with no Motion Plus, especially since we don't get to swing them at all now.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
