Developers will do little things like that to up the rating. A movie can be upped from G to PG just by putting one bad word in it.

Don't forget that in the game you marry multiple princesses. And that drunken king can easily make it rated T just on how much he promotes drinking.

If I remember correctly there was a line something like: "My wife loves to cook.It tastes so good. And her food isn't bad either." I think that was the biggest T rated jaw-dropper for me.

The humorous but crude use of religion probably raised a few red flags as well.
