I didn't. I had a 360 before I bought a Wii. To be honest, I only got the Wii because I bought it from a friend for $120. I've always loved Nintendo and many of their franchises, it's just that I never would have paid $250 for it (this was back before the price drop). The Xbox 360 might get more of my attention, but I've never regreted getting the Wii.

Because it costed less and so I could play my gamecube games again. Oh yeag, it also had a lot cooler looking games in the game informer (mario galaxy, brawl) than others, and the motion control.
I am not and I will never be dissapointed in the Wii, because it has the best games this generation. No generic FPS or Strategy game like those PS360... I never buy Microsoft or Sony products. My Bro had a Sony TV before... it was broken all the time... Windows sux... so no Microsoft...
The VC is also very interesting for me, because I couldn't buy all the games I liked back in the day, so now is the perfect time to get them. The Supending Play feature let's me beat those classic hardcore games, that killed me on the second level ^^
Thx Nintendo for the best Machine since the SNES!!!
1) The 360/PS3 has way more genre's then the wii, even though they do lack that classic nintendo charm. 2)Isn't sterotyping a game system based on the parent company bad, i can say i won't buy a nintendo product because the virtual boy sucks, or that all germans are evil because of what the the nazi party did.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
You sure? You should Youtube some of the games above and see if you like them.
I am sure I'll like quite a few of the games you listed, and I'll probably buy one or more of them. However, it'll all be gravy after I get the two I listed. If you haven't looked at my Backloggery ... I really don't NEED any new games until I work through a few of the ones I already have. I think I'm set until around 2013 at this point.
Currently playing: Gunstar Super Heroes (GBA), Infinite Space (NDS)

I've deferred from getting a PS3 until they came down in price, ironed out the OS problems and got a decent rage of games. My trusty old PS2 has finally given up the ghost and has been used as much as the wii in the time I've had it.
part of it was price, but also I had the PS2 and had played the original XBox and to me their games never really compared to the Nintendo home consoles' games. Also, my brother in college already had a 360 and I didn't want to just get the same thing as he did, as I could just play his just by asking him.
1) Printing money 2) Having an excuse to flail around like an idiot 3) Mo' money 4) Pretending I'm old through the wonders of the VC...or something 5) I'd say money again, but that would be redundant

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
-it was cheaper. -i was excited about the possibilities of motion control (which could have been better utilized by this point, but they're still great. after the metroid prime games, i'll never feel the same playing a tradtional FPS again.) -i love Nintendo. great games, great quality, and they care more about their fans than the other two. -i was excited about being able to play videogames with my dad for the first time since the super nintendo through the virtual console, and the new "casual" games. -backwards compatibility with my 60+ game GC library (which would also allow me to sell my GC and get a game or two). there was nothing at the time that interested me about the other 2. there are still just a handful of titles between the two of them (10 at the MOST) that i would really want.
