BTW, is a regular xbox more powerful than the wii?
I don't have hard data on this, but as far as I can tell, the Gamecube was the most powerful console of the previous generation, with the X-Brick second and the ancient PS2 third. So it would follow that a Wii is more powerful than the X-Brick. It's certainly more powerful than a PS2, not that you'd know that from all the half-arsed ports. :/
Xbox was more powerful that the Gamecube.
Quite a bit more powerful than the Gamecube. And I think the Wii is a bit more powerful than the original Xbox. Oh, and X-brick? Really? That's pretty lame.
As has already been said...kinda: I'd want to see Halo on the Wii about as much as I'd want to see Metroid, Zelda, and Mario on the xbox...which is not at all.
I'm not sure about Halo on the Wii but that video that Machu posted of Halo DS looked pretty sweet.Pity it'll never see the light of day.The DS needs more FPS's.
Which is nothing like Halo.So your point is................???
Yeah really, why do people keep on bringing up Metroid? Yes, they're both in 1st person. Yes, both do involve shoot things to some degree. Yes, both star characters that spend most of their time in special suits. But asside from that, they're completely different games. Metroid Prime is an Action-Adventure, with a 1st person view point, where you spend time solving puzzles and exploring the landscape looking for power-ups and artifacts, while fighting any enemy that gets in your way. Halo is an FPS, where pretty much all you do is shooting things, while occasionally activating switches or backtracking so you can find more things to shoot at and/or shoot with, or along with the occasional stealth mission where you spend time stabbing things while trying not to be seen...but once you are seen, then it's back to shooting.
It just drives me crazy that people think they can just compare apples to oranges just because of a few minor cosmetic similarities. It just shows that they know nothing about one or either of the games whatsoever.
