I've completed the story and continued on a while afterwards collecting more of the hidden items, recipes etc (still a lot missing) and to see the rest of world 6. It was good fun and provided a decent challenge, and even made me think through some puzzles in the game while i wasn't actually playing it. I really enjoyed the Flipside/Flopside 100-level challenges, but the 2nd boss was pretty tough after you'd fought through all those levels. It's the only paper mario game i've played so I can't compare it to the others. I'd agree that there's a lot of dialogue, which can spoil the pacing of the game and the story does get a bit repetitive in places, but overall i'd still highly recommend this game.
Loved it. Awesome. Wasn't a "Paper Mario," so to speak, but for what it was, it was very great. 10 out of 10. I beat it twice and did the Pits.
I don't think a 10/10 game should have any scenes of lengthy repetitiveness in it at all even if everything else in the game is worth 10/10. Repetitiveness in a game really knocks down my enjoyment factor and overall quality IMO.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
