I don't like the usual Nintendo stuff like Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid: Other M so most of my games are third-party, both retail and WiiWare. Final Fantasy, No More Heroes, Mushroom Men, Rayman, Just Dance, House of the Dead, that sort of stuff. The Nintendo games that I like are usually just Nintendo-published like Excite series (Monster Games) or Sin & Punishment (Treasure).
I brought quite a lot, which is much smaller than the number of third party games I played borrowing from friends or renting. My ratings: 1- poor, 2- average, 3- good, 4- excellent, 5- classic).
2K The Bigs 2 (yet to be played)
Activision Goldeneye (4/5)
Capcom Resident Evil 4 (4/5)
Codemasters F1 2009 (3/5)
EA Dead Space Extraction (2/5) NBA Jam (3/5)
Konami Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, 2009, 2011 (5/5)
Marvelous Arc Rise Fantasia (playing right now)
SEGA Okami (5/5) The Conduit (3/5)
THQ The Blob (3/5)
Ubisoft Red Steel (3/5) Red Steel 2 (2/5) Shaun White Snowboarding (3/5)
Boom Blox Band Hero The Beetles Rock Band Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Guitar Hero: World Tour Guitar Hero: Smash Hits Guitar Hero 5 Harvest Moon: Animal Parade Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Monster 4X4 World Circuit MySims Rayman Raving Rabbids Rabbids Go Home Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
I was disappointed in Monster 4X4 World Circuit and I believe MySims made my Wii sound like a buzz saw. My Sims was fun but when I was playing it I could hear the disc drive trying to seek back and forth trying to load different stuff while running around. My Wii was never the same after that.
Woo, another Gojira fan! You know I almost unloaded this, but I knew that after buying all the Godzilla DVDs this year (I have the Heisei series on order and will get the Millennium films in February) I'd watch them and have a yearning to virtually don the rubber suit myself. I would love to see a new Godzilla game for the Wii with less lame controls, but until that fantasy is realised I'm just happy to have a decent Godzilla game at all.

More often than not I tend to overlook many of the more publicised 3rd party games because they tend to take up a bit of time. I wanted Monster Hunter Tri but I do not think I would have enough time to play it and as a result it would be a waste. I tend to spend most of my time playing the first party titles and also pokemon games on my ds

Sean you got another fan here. Except I am Biollante and Baragon all the way.
Definitely Godzilla here, but Jet Jaguar is another fave. I think I've only purchased about half. I referenced a walkthrough so I could play through and unlock the rest of the characters for purchase though it will take many replays to accomplish this. We really need another Godzilla game with absolutely all the characters including Hedora. If the new upcoming film does the business hopefully that will provide sufficient inspiration!
I know this is off but I would like to play as Gorosaurus. He has now real beam or special moves but he would be quit a kicker. Maybe the Toho King Kong and Mechani Kong. I mean they put Varan in Unleashed... then again I don't know what's up with the copyrights on Kong for Toho. Monster X from Final Wars and Keizer Ghidorah, can't think of anyone else besides some lesser Monster Island characters from the Showa era.
Fragile (7.5/10) developer: tri-crescendo released by: Xseed thoughts: fun, but so short. Good localization
Muramasa (8/10) developer: Vanillaware released by: Ignition thoughts: liked the battle system, but the lack of playable characters and in-depth story kinda left me disappointed
Arc Rise Fantasia (8.5/10) developer: marvelous and imagepochee released by: ignition thoughts: solid game with a fun battle system. It's just too bad the localization sucked
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (7.5/10) developer: Namco Tales Studio released by: Namco thoughts: my favorite Wii game so far. liked the new characters and the battle system, but felt they relied on Symphonia too much as a crutch
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams developer: Sega released by: Sega thoughts: never made it past the first level. This game is too frustrating for me. But it is fun just flying around. Graphics made me sad.
I only keep my favorite games, which usually are made by Nintendo's teams (1st or 2nd party)... but i've played many 3rd parties as well: most were pre-owned, and are now owned by someone else... that's the only way to keep my gaming budget decent!
Anyway... first, the ones i still have...
Little King Story (9/10) Zack and Wiki (7/10) No More Heroes (8/10) No More Heroes 2 (8/10) Muramasa (7/10) De Blob (8/10) Okami (9/10) Resident Evil 4 (8/10) Red Steel 2 (8/10) Tiger Woods 2010 (7/10)
And then, all the ones now gone...
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles (6/10) The Conduit (4/10) Mad World (2/10) Red Steel (4/10) Monster Hunter Tri (6/10) Rayman Raving Rabbids (5/10) Rabbids Go Home (7/10) Klonoa (7/10) Fragile Dreams (6/10) Rune Factory Frontier (6/10) Boom Blox (6/10) Boom Blow Bash Party (6/10) Dragon Quest Swords (2/10) FF Chronicles: Crystal Bearers (5/10) FF Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (7/10) Overlord Dark Legend (6/10) Sonic Secret Rings (4/10) Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (3/10) Dead Space Exctraction (7/10) House of the Dead Overkill (5/10) Lego Star Wars (7/10) Pangya Golf (7/10) Kororinpa (6/10) Dewys Adventure (4/10) Eledees (6/10) Mercury Meltdown Revolution (5/10)
I think that's it... and now that i remember them all, all i can say is... so many disappointments, and so few excellent surprises!
@briunj04 - There are many reasons to not have played a game you own. The ones I can think of are 1. I'm already occupied with other games, such as me not starting AB&HB due to my DQIX addiction, 2. Waiting for the game to inflate in value to hopefully sell it for more money later (i.e. Super Mario All-Stars), and 3. General lack of ambition to play said game, like if you bought it on a whim but are not truly convinced to play it, like me and Contra 4 for DS. I'm sure there are more reasons for owning but not playing a game, but those are all I can think of at the moment.
