I count Endless Ocean: Blue World and Sin & Punishment 2 as third party since they were not developed in-house by Nintendo or one of their subsidiaries. EO2 is by Arika and S&P2 is by Treasure who aren't affiliated with Nintendo.
Monster Hunter Tri- ♥ 9001/10 Best wii game ever! (yes I did make the score 9001 simply to say "IT"S OVER 9000!!!" actual score is 11/10) Little Kings Story- 10/10 Very cute and wonderful game. Goldeneye 007- 7/10 I'm not really into FPS games but this one is pretty good, I chose a lower score since I'm not really an FPS person. Zack and Wiki- 9/10 My first favorite wii game. I love the cartoony graphics, the puzzles are cool, you can not play it for awhile after beating it to do the puzzles all over after forgetting them, and there are still extra objectives to complete it. Harvest Moon tree of tranquility- 7/10 Not bad in bursts of playing, gets repetitive after awhile but it's a fun and cute game at little at a time.

Band Hero - My favorite music game, but it should have been called Guitar Hero: Pop Edition or something. Boom Blox: Bash Party - It's like knocking down Jenga towers, without the mess! a boy and his blob - The Hug button is the cutest thing I've ever seen in a videogame. Carnival Games - Some of the games are fun. Disney Epic Mickey - This is a love letter to all Disney fanatics,the only issue I have with it is the combat. Disney Guilty Party - Disney needs to make this into a show already, definitely one of the best Party games out there. How To Train Your Dragon - No one can top my Purple Night Fury!!!!!!! Karaoke revolution presents: American Idol - Rayman Raving Rabbids - I bust up every time we play this game, those Rabbids are crazy! Rock Band 2 - After two years I've yet to master Hard mode. Samba de Amigo - This game is best played on Medium. Speed Racer - BEST RACING GAME EVER! Toy Story 3 - Toy box mode is a blast! Your Shape - Everyone needs a good workout.

Klonoa - Hilariously a better story than the majority of RPGs. Actually better than most Kirby games, and I love Kirby. Muramasa - Kickass. A bit less linear and made sooner and it would have been the hack n slash equivalent of Super Metroid or Symphony of the Night. Little King's Story - Even better than Pikmin 2. Some spongebob game - ....... Marvel Ultimate whatever - Never played it actually. Seemed fun enough and like X-men Legends from what my brother played. Metal Slug Anthology - Great but not comparable to the Megaman or Sonic compilation games. Dewey's Adventure - Decent 3D platformer. Zach and Wiki - Not a fan of how much Trial and Error there is but pretty great nonetheless. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles - Not House of the Dead worthy. Red Steel - The running gag for Wii owners until the 2nd game apparently was great. No More Heroes - You should already own it. No More Heroes 2 - This one too. Okami - A classic, yet oddly only my 3rd favorite Zelda-like game that isn't Zelda. (Beyond Good and Evil and Megaman Legends are the other 2 btw) Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz - Fun, but not as great as 2 to say the least. Some Guitar Hero games - Never got into them unfortunately, my brother mainly played them. Samba De Amigo - I still own this dissappointment. Why couldn't Sega just make the controls work? Ghostbusters - One of the best licensed games ever. And still worse than most of the games I listed. Sam and Max Season 1 - This is probably blasphemy but the humor felt hit or miss at best to me. Dead Space: Extraction - I'm still amazed at how well they made this light gun game feel like a legit Dead Space game. Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon - ;_____;

Confused me at first too, but here you go. 1st Party: Developers that make games for there own console, like Nintendo themselves. 2nd Party: Developers that make games for one company, such as Retro Studios (as far as I know...>_>). 3rd Party: These guys make games for any console, Capcom, Konami, EA Whatever.

Hmmmm... that means that 45 out of the 78 games I have are 3rd Party. That means I own 33 Nintendo published games O_o That's more first party than I would have guessed....
Right now...all I have is a big long wishlist. I can't play through my first party games fast enough! Plus there's VC to distract me too! I probably would have a lot more if I had bought a Wii around launch, but I waited nearly 3 years to pick one up. Yay, backlog!

Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games- Not as good as what I thought it would be. NiGHTS Journey of Dreams- Not as good as original, but not bad either. Samba De Amigo- Lots of fun, got it pretty cheap too. Sonic Unleashed- Day Stages are amazing, Night stages are so so. I own a lot more 1st Party stuff.
Just for the sake of semantics, 2nd party refers to the consumer of products (us). A company owned by Nintendo is a subsidiary, a company that has a game only published by Nintendo is third party. There is only first and third party devs.
