Topic: Which do I buy?

I am trying to decide between Blaster Master and Gunstar Heroes. I never played them before on their original platforms, but the reviews make them both seem like must haves- so what do you recommend and why? (I'm leaning toward Blaster Master as of this moment, but that can change).

If this thread isn't closed, while I haven't played it, I'd say get Gunstar if you like Metal Slug. I've played Blaster Master, and I've gotta say, it's REALLY overrated. There is no save system (though if you run out of lives, you can start from the beginning of the current area), and though it has good graphics and great sound, it can get REALLY frustrating, especially when you navigate the overworld for an hour, FINALLY locate the correct dungeon where the boss is, only to be killed by the boss three times in a row, forcing you to restart the whole process. Luckilly if you DO manage to kill a boss, even if you die, you get to keep the item obtained from that boss.
