Topic: Where's Rolling thunder 1 and 3?

I noticed only the second game is on VC. Why did they never release the others? They look pretty good.

I don't know, maybe it didn't sell well enough to justify releasing the other 2. Ask Namco.

Good question. I think it'll only be a matter of time before we see them, since there's nothing holding them back. I just wish Namco would hurry up and give us some more damn arcade games already! >=(

That's what I'd like to know. Too bad Namco only supports the Japan VCA.

If I remember correctly, the original was released on Nintendo from the unlicensed Tengen distributor. I doubt Nintendo's gonna be dipping into the Tengen well.

They could release the arcade version.

Or the Famicom version, since Namco made it.
But then they'd have to decide whether to call it an import or not.

The arcade version of Rolling Thunder is already on the Japanese VC, so it would be the arcade version here too.

Is Rolling Thunder 3 awfully rare?

I'm not sure how rare it is now, but it was only released in the United States.

Is that ever an actual reason for VC games? Okay so sure some games have yet to be released yet when previous games in the series have been on the VC for a few years, but I doubt its because they didn't sell well. If that were true, I think a lot of games already on the VC wouldn't have appeared.

However, I do think the C64 is being neglected because the games aren't selling well.

Agreed. If sales were a factor, Adventures Of Lolo 2 probably wouldn't have shown up.

Adventures of Lolo 3 is just a matter of time.

I recently bought Rolling thunder 2 and it's pretty good. It's basically Shinobi with a secret agent instead of a Ninja. Now I wish they would hurry up and get the other two on the shop. I hear Rolling thunder 3 is even better.
