I haven't heard no more info about this game; has it disappeared?

Well the team who's developing it--Nicalis--is also working on Cave Story, so they're concentrating all their effort on that right now.

Ugh, I was expecting this game months ago.

You have to wait for Cave Story first. Heck, we might get La Mulana before we get Night Sky.

This is the problem with announcing games early - people get excited, but if the game isn't released quickly that hype can be wasted. For what it's worth, the games (especially Cave Story) should be a lot of fun when they do come out. Try enjoying some other games while you wait.
