Do you REALLY use it instead of the computer?

4...More internal memory.

A version update isn't capable of suddenly increasing the internal memory. If that was possible, the PC market would've implemented that years ago. If you need more memory, that's what the SD slot is for.

6...Have websites loud more smoothly on the wii, ie: facebook.

That won't be solved unless/until they get away from the annoyance that is the Opera browser, like Chrome, Firefox or IE. And that won't happen.

I don't anticipate the next system update ... because, other than the play-from-SD-card support, none of the updates have been so crucial as to be game-changers. The clock on the main menu? USB keyboard support? Meh. I doubt there's much they'll do going forward, aside from anti-pirate patching.

The "Health and Safety" thing is a disclaimer warning parents and adults that video games have been known to occasionally cause seizures.

What I'd like is for the "use the wrist strap and jacket" thing to be removed from games where you hold it like an NES controller (e.g. Super Paper Mario).

You must not have played Warioland Shake It

I have LOL.

Super Paper Mario, however, hardly uses the motion controls.

actually it's pretty damn good. Not as good as the PC of course, but... it's quite fun to browse with it between game sessions, and it works rather well. It's a neat feature with the Wii pointer, and it's missing in the other consoles. I love it.

So ends a saga older than time itself.
The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation
is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the

there's only one major problem left with the wii at the moment and that is the lack of a method to transfer games to another system. this seems to be coming up a lot more now with the black wii being released in the US since there are apparently a lot of people willing to sell their white wii to get one, only to find they'll be selling all their games along with it.

allowing games to be transferred by SD card should be the first priority for a new update, but because the majority of users don't need it i doubt nintendo will do it. but when the next system comes out and there's no way to move games to it, then it'll be the entire wii user base that's pissed, so i'm sure nintendo will have something in place by then.

If you look to the past, there was an update every 4 months. There were a few exceptions. This seems to be one of them, because almost 7 months have passed without an update.

No update needed.

I agree. Besides, these updates can't do big changes. Only small ones.

I'm pretty sure these warnings are (like the home menu) on the disc, so you can't remove them with an update.
In addition you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that you don't need a wrist strap for games without motion controls.
Don't just mindlessly do what the game tells you to do.

i hope we have a Wii System Update soon, it seems like forever since we last had one and we need a Facebook Channel as well because Facebook on the Internet Channel is slow as can be.

It's-a me, Mario!
