Topic: What's happened with....?

There are quite a few games many of us are still waiting for and for one reason or another, we haven't heard anything from the developers in quite some time. Just thought I'd get some discussion going on these games as some of these are actually starting to concern me.

For example, ever since last year I've been excited for Butterfly Garden, especially now with online being looked at more than it was back when it was announced. Anyway, since around the time of NL's great interview with the developers, I haven't heard anything about this title. am I the only one still wondering what's going on with this one?

Other examples I'd like to briefly mention:
Last I checked, Mart Racer was pretty close to completion based on what the developers were saying and yet, we haven't heard anything from there nor have we seen their game release yet. I don't care too much for the game itself, but I'm just wondering what's going on with that one.

Carnival King was supposed to be out in July and we still haven't seen a release of it. I wonder what's with the delay?

Feel free to discuss the aforementioned titles or even other titles you're wondering about as well.

Oh my, I had forgotten about Butterfly Garden and where is Last Flight, how could we be missing those!

Last Flight. Isn't that one of the zombie ones? That'd be cool to get.

Yeah, and the same developers also have another WiiWare project in the works too (an RPG) so maybe they're trying to juggle them both or maybe they're just taking their time with Let's Flight.

Yea i remember Nintendo power did an article on Last Flight right when Wiiware was launched.I was very intrigued.

I'm still waiting for Vektor Tank. At least the devs said progress hasn't changed much since the Gamescom expo, so we have a little bit of info.

I'm also waiting for Vektor Tank. I'm glad Bplus is making another big game, as Niki and Bit Boy!! were made in just a few months.

Even if it's now retail, Corbie's still waiting on Animales De La Muerte. >:3

Gravitronix! Wasn't that one of the first games that was announced for the WiiWare service?

Animales De La Muerte is the one I'm still waiting for. Last news about it was about it being switched to a retail game. It has been dead or muerte since then.

whatever happened to all these WiiWare games? I was anticipating some of them but now they're fading from my memory

Never actually released. That's just the last thing they said about it. Maybe if Nintendo raises the 40 MB limit on WiiWare we'll see ADLM some day. Though I don't know how Nintendo feels about licensing a game where children run around with chain saws and fully automatic weapons, putting the smack down on (zombie) zoo animals.

Seriously? The designers must've been high.

i worked at high voltage in the spring/summer of 2007, and i know for a fact that animales de la muerte was completed then. i even edited promo reels for the company and used gameplay footage from the finalized game. it has to be caught up in red tape somewhere, because that was over two years ago.
