Topic: Do you like or dislike Wario Land:Shake It!!?

I really enjoyed the art style in the game and how the game's flow was so smooth. I'd like to see Nintendo do more 2D games on the wii, like Wario Shake It, hand drawn. Maybe a new...Hmm...Well it appears Nintendo is bringing all its main franchises back into to 2D platforming world (Mario) and Metroid appears to be working pretty hard right now (2 new games) and i think Overview Zelda games should stay on the DS. Maybe... an arrangement of nes classic hand drawn and redone all in one game that should include ice climber, kid Icarus, wreaking crew, excitebike, tetris, and a few other classics. Sadly this idea will go sailing on a raft back into the back of my head because it will never happen. sniff.

I agree. What the heck is wrong with 2D games? Just because you have the technology, that doesn't mean that 3D is neccessary. 3D even killed a game series in my opinion. Poor Sonic.

But yeah, Wario Land: Shake It! is great. It was refreshing to play a 2D platformer again that was brand-new. It had a good challenge finding and collecting the treasure too. I still don't have all of them.

2D games are definately making a killer comeback. New Super Mario Bros DS, Mega Man 9, Wario Land Shake It, A Boy and his Blob, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and now New Super Mario Bros Wii. I was born during the early N64 era, but I've always been a big old-school fan--which means I'm a happy camper right now.

Wario Land Shake It was like the original Gameboy games, which brouht back happy memories. Im glad that they came from 3D to 2D as I hated the GC version.
