What was wrong with Rosalina, Lumas, the suits they had, and comets? Comets were fun!
The suits they had were awesome--but we want new suits in SMG2. It'd be kind of lame if they had the same suits as the first one and nothing new. Rosalina was okay, but she added nothing to the game. As for Lumas...well I actually kind of liked them. I think I might've enjoyed Comets more if they were optional--if you wanted to get all 120 stars you had to do them, and some of them were just flat-out not fun. Different strokes, I guess.

The game must be easy if I'm already in the third of six domes. I've unlocked the Kitchen, which the Strategy Wiki says is the third dome. I usually suck, so I'm advancing pretty quickly.

I want to see some REAL big environments. When galaxy was first announced I imagined these huge environments way beyond what the N64 did for Mario 64. I couldn't wait to see what huge planets the Wii would render. I loved running across the giant lands of Mario 64. But this was Bigger! This was Mario Galaxy!!...
Needless to say I bought the game Day 1 and was HIGHLY disappointed with the tiny islands dubbed "galaxies". C'mon if Pluto is not a planet, then these little platforms cannot be "galaxies"!
So what you're saying is that it should be harder by making it easier to die. Are you also hoping the objective of the game is changed so that the goal is to die? That's a little dark for a Mario game.
No. I'm trying to say that I want some enemies to take away different amounts of hit-points, and the only way to do that without taking more than half your life away is to increase the health bar/wheel. Per say that I'm in a level, and I see a goomba, I'm (mentally) going to say "I can take it easy because goombas only take away one hit point." Then in the same level, I see a Thwomp, which makes me (mentally) say "Oh snap! I better be careful since Thwomps take away two hit points." You see what I was trying to say?
P.S. After 9 hours of sleeping, things get much clearer. Can't imagine why.

I don't agree, but it makes sense. Mario enemies have always either dealt "one damage," and what they ought to do is forget this goofy health system and go back to power-ups as "health." I can't understand why they abandoned one of Mario's most definitive features to begin with. How can it be a Mario game without mushrooms?
I concur, Adam. Whatever happened to powerups instead of hitpoints? I can understand for Paper Mario, considering its an RPG, but in a platformer it shouldn't be that way.

Yep, more 2D levels would be great. And some vast exploration areas as well, more like SM64 rather than this "1 star = 1 linear level" approach of Galaxies. Some more bonuses maybe, not just playing as Luigi. But anyway, just 120 more galaxies would be awesome. =)

Yeah, let's bash a Mario game for being unrealistic
Seriously, though, I understand where you're coming from. One thing I really want from Galaxy 2 are some really enormous Galaxies to explore. I don't mind some linear levels thrown in, but I would love at least a few really big exploration levels.

Are you crazy? The purple coin comets were just an annoying waste of time. I don't see how you enjoyed them.
No, I'm not crazy, but it amuses me that insanity is the only possible explanation you can imagine for someone to enjoy the only challenging part of the game. Also, I never said I specifically liked the purple coin comets, but hey, let's jump to conclusions. Why not?
