@wii man10: Let's just say never believe what IGN say. They don't know, they're just speculating. If you want proof, contact Interplay to see if they plan to release Clayfighter 63 1/3 on the Virtual Console in 2010.
I can guess a few pending on how productive Nintendo is in the VC department: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (If Super FX is Ready) Starfox (If Super FX is Ready) Earthbound The Last Ninja 3 Iron Clad Castlevania: Rondo of Blood Castlevania: Bloodlines Castlevania: Dracula X Those are just a few predictions and maybe 3 will actually make it to VC next year.
I'm predicting that we'll get more VCA titles from Japan that I've been wanting to appear and even a few others like Marvel Land, Solvalou, Dig Dug 2 and more.
Sorry about not talking for a while. Since I got in 7th Grade my Science teacher literaly tries to consume my life, so sorry. On a related note I'm glad you agree with SMW2!
Since the Lucasarts partnership I would like to see Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and the NES Maniac Masion (never played them and I don't use my PC for games). There was some game called Journey to Silius or something and I'd like that others include:
Star Fox Excitebike 64 Legendary Axe (heard some good things) maybe Valis NES Rygar some form of Strider still holding out hope on Mario's Super Picross Ogre Battle 64 Pilotwings 64 Castlevainia: Bloodlines Rondo of Blood Contra: Hard Corps the rest of the turtle series (surprised this hasn't happened yet) Maybe the Master System Zaxxon A lot of Hudson stuff (bomberman 64 for it's unusual battle system, Super Adventure Island etc.
@SSBFan and @7th lutz Does that mean Wikipedia is wrong too? It also said it is slated for a 2010 release. It also said that Mario Tennis is being released in 2010.
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?
Wikipedia is wrong a lot with VC releases as well. However, I don't see any reasons why we wouldn't see the Clay Fighters, so I guess they have as good a chance as anything else.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
The only reliable source is if you can somehow infiltrate the decision making meetings held at Nintendo HQ where they figure out release dates.
Also, if Clayfighter 63 1/3 actually does come out on VC, I will be sad that the first 3rd party game to be released for the N64 VC for over 3 years is a crappy fighter
Most of you guys/gals are more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am, so I don't have much to add... but I will point out that Sunsoft just got on board with VC at the end of 2009. When they did their press release announcing Blaster Master VC, they seemed very enthusiastic. So in 2010 I think we'll get Journey to Silius, Aero the Acro-Bat, and maybe some other stuff.
