2009 for the Virtual Console in North America and Europe has come to an close. Some weeks were great, like in December 21th, 2009, but others were terrible like during the two weeks without a VC game. Now that 2009 has unfolded, let's start predicting what games will be made available in 2010. I'll start (Please note this is an prediction for the North American Virtual Console): Nintendo Entertainment System: 1. Pro Wrestling 2. Mega Man IV 3. Mega Man V 4. Devil World 5. Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom (Correct) 6. Smash Table Tennis 7. Super Pitfall Sega Master System: 1. Alex Kidd In Shinobi World (Correct) 2. Shinobi TurboGrafx-16: 1. Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (Correct) 2. Keith Courage In Alpha Zone Sega Genesis: 1. Sonic & Knuckles (Correct) 2. Crackdown 3. ESWAT: City Under Seige 4. Shadow Dancer (Correct) 5. Strider 6. Pengo 7. Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye (Correct) Super Nintendo Entertainment System: 1. Final Fantasy IV (Correct) 2. Kirby Super Star 3. Mario's Super Picross 4. Final Fight III (Correct) 5. Ghoul Patrol (Correct) 6. Star Fox 7. Darius Twin Commodore 64: 1. Impossible Mission 2. International Karate+ 3. Jumpman 4. World Games 5. Winter Games 6. Paradroid 7. Mayhem In Monsterland Neo Geo: 1. The King Of Fighter '95 2. Fatal Fury Special (Correct) 3. Ironclad 4. Fatal Fury 3: Road to Final Victory 5. Galaxy Fight: Universal Warrior Nintendo 64: 1. Ogre Battle 64 (Correct) Virtual Console Arcade: 1. Space Invader 2. Bomb Jack 3. Pac Man 4. Donkey Kong 5. Zaxxon I believe that's fourty-three games. You can make your own predictions and rate other predictions. On top of that, you can predict the region where you live and the region where you don't live in. What are your predictions for the Virtual Console in 2010?

It's under the coming soon list because Wikipedia is unreliable. It's not coming soon.

I'd say EarthBound, but that's been confirmed for December 12th, 2012.

@Adam: Yes I know. And what's even sadder is that they think IGN is an crediable source. Also, I think his prediction on Castlevania: Rondo of Blood coming this year is creidable, due to an OFLC rating present.

I can see the Master System roster being padded out with Mega Drive conversions no one would possibly ask for (Streets of Rage, Ecco, etc), and loads of old arcade titles that virtually no one will be interested in. I'm not predicting that it'll be a vintage year for Virtual Console...

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, so if a game is listed under the coming soon section then check its source. If its coming from the ESRB, OLFC, PEGI, Hudson's website, or Nintendo's press releases then its reliable. If it does not have a source then just ignore it for the time being.

There have not been any new ESRB rated games for the VC in several weeks now.

The good news is that this may force games that have been on the coming soon list for ages to be released but I think there may be some weeks where there are no VC games released as in Europe.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

@Tony: I think he didn't mean months. And he's right, we haven't gotten an game rated for the Virtual Consoles in several weeks.

Well those games may be what they plan to release in coming weeks. As that list dwindles maybe we will see more games rated again.
