Topic: VC Recommendations thread

I picked up Dracula's Curse first, since it's actually a prequel to the original. @LTD which boss would you say is the best to start with in MM3? I've been practicing on Sparkman's stage, I've come close to defeating him, but no cigar. Ha! Sparkman.... and no cigar. (<:

This is a list of the VC titles I currently own, in order in which I enjoy them.
1) TMNT- NES
2) Metroid- NES
3) Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse- NES
4) Y's Book 1&2- TG16
5) Megamn 3- NES
6) Paper Mario- N64
7) Metal Slug 2- Neo Geo
8) Toe Jam and Earl- Genesis
9) Toe Jam and Earl 2: Panic on Funkotron- Genesis
10) Final Fight- SNES
11) Baseball Stars 2- Neo Geo

Anyone have any recommendations as to which top 3 titles I should download next?

Super Metroid, Super Castlevania IV, and Mega Man X.

Thank you @Kid_Crono, that's what I had already figured. But I thought those choices maybe to obvious and maybe I should download something a little more diverse. I could always download those 3 wonderful choices, but I don't really want more of the same at this moment. (<:

Is Sonic 3D Blast any good?

No Sonic 3D Blast is awful IMO. But what kind of games do you like?

I guess I need to add an adventure, shooter and a tatical rpg to my collection, what do you think?

Shooter: Well really anything is up for grabs in that department. Like you said your up for osmething diverse so Contra is a definite choice, so is Gradius 3, and Super R Type.

Adventure: Any Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Mega Man, really any of those. Plus Donkey Kong Country is great too. As for Tactical RPG nothing really comes to mind. xD

Anyone looking for a good RPG on VC?
Might I suggest Phantasy Star IV for Genesis?
Probably the best RPG on the system.
It's a rarity in the Genre because it has a cool Sci-fi setting rather than the
typical olden times style. Highly enjoyable game I must say!

Well for one it's a steal on VC at only 8 bucks. It's also extremely rare.
Everything else about the game is top notch. The music, There's cool comic book style cutscenes and lots of things to do.
Later in the game you even get a space ship to travel around to different planets!
It is turn based though so it's not exactly Tactical.
It's no doubt the best of the the Phantasy Star series.

I can't remember. As far as i can remember i never had big problems in taking out either one of my first bosses with the normal blaster.
Best either look it up online or go to this thread. I'm sure people will have fun talking about it and help you out.

Brawl Brothers was released last week so no Wii VC game this week.

Is Ninja gaiden II a fun (NES) action game?
If so what are some of the best things about this game? e.g. story,gameplay,features etc.

@Rukiafan23 If you like difficult, sidscrolling and platformers then you should enjoy Ninja Gaiden. I'd prompt for TMNT first if I were you, but that's my opinion.

Does anyone know the price for Xenoblade?

They're releasing it on the 18th August here in Europe, though.
