From Wikipedia about Ufouria: The Saga
Hebereke (へべれけ) is a side scrolling adventure video game developed by Japanese company Sunsoft for the Nintendo Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System) and released in Japan on September 20, 1991. The game was only released outside Japan in Europe and Australia under the name Ufouria: The Saga with minor alterations on November 19, 1992. The game is considered by those that have played as one of the better adventure games on the platform despite its limited release. This was the first video game in the Hebereke series with almost every "sequel" being a completely different style of game. 'Hebereke' is the character you begin the game playing and the Japanese name is colloquial and roughly translates to 'drunk' or 'untrustworthy'. The game was later rereleased in a two-in-one Sony Playstation game, Memorial Series Sunsoft Vol.5, which also included Raf World (known outside of Japan as Journey to Silius).

The games design is in the style of Metroid and Blaster Master where the player traverses an uninterrupted game world collecting items and power-ups enabling the player to reach even more locations, fighting bosses and minibosses. Throughout the game you can locate Hebereke's three friends who each have unique skills. The game allows you to switch between the characters at any time to utilise their skills when needed.

The game sports bright characters and graphics that are typically Japanese in design, done in the style of Bomberman, Kirby and particularly Hello Kitty.

As a result of the limited release of English versions of the NES game, it has become quite rare, and is considered a sought after item by collectors.

From Wikipedia about Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー?) is a console role-playing game created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, developed and published in Japan by Square (now Square Enix) in 1987, and published in North America by Nintendo of America in 1990. It is the first game in Square's Final Fantasy series. Originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Final Fantasy was remade for several video game consoles and is frequently packaged with Final Fantasy II in video game collections. The story follows four youths called the Light Warriors, who each carry one of their world's four elemental orbs which have been darkened by the four Elemental Fiends. Together, they quest to defeat these evil forces, restore light to the orbs, and save their world.

The game received generally positive reviews, and it is regarded as one of the most influential and successful role-playing games on the Nintendo Entertainment System, playing a major role in popularizing the genre. Praise focused on the game's graphics, while criticism targeted the time spent wandering in search of random battle encounters to raise the player's experience level. All versions of Final Fantasy sold a combined total of two million copies worldwide by March 2003.

That's cool. At least I know it's not a DOS game or anything. But other than that, I still don't know anything about the game itself. Is it a shooter? A survival-horror? A platformer? When was it made? What's particularly unique or interesting about it, if there is anything? I know you said you were still editing the main post, but if you have the time to respond to my post, you at least have the time to give some basic info about the game, if there is anything about it that you know.

Not that it matters, anyways. Wikipedia already told me everything I need to know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ufouria:_The_Saga

My internet Connection was going down for a while and before it did I saw that Ufouria: The Saga was rated and Final Fantasy was coming out so I rushed to get this thread up. I saw you reply minutes before it went down so I gave a reply and then I lost connection. So I am sorry that I couldn't get enough information up before my internet connection went down.

You're not European. That's where it's being released. That's where people have heard of it.

Good. That means that the next Final Fantasy is closer to being released!

Fuzzy, Backloggery.

Yeah, but unless Sunsoft still has a copy of the cancelled NA version of Ufouria, it'll probably be awhile before a NA release. The EU version would need to be recoded to NTSC, while the Japanese version might need translation.
(and I think both versions are pretty close in value. In having to choose between the PAL and the FC version (at the same price), I had to choose the FC because it was the only NTSC version)
