I played this last week but never had time to write up my thoughts! It's quite impressive but there's not really much call for the camera in the parts I played, although it is useful to watch your form as you pull off the exercises. I did have fun and it certainly did the trick (my legs ached for days afterwards!) but I'm not sure it will stand out in the crowd.

It looks just like a webcam. Is it just a webcam Pro'? Or does it have other techbits in there?

I'm not too sure - it's a USB camera all right but I don't know if it has anything particularly special in it. Most of the cool stuff I saw - body-mapping etc. - could have simply been software-based, so it's tough to say. I should have asked the nice lady demonstrating it some more probing questions but we were too busy talking about God of War III!

i was really excited seeing this topic's title, and then i clicked the link and realized it's YET ANOTHER FITNESS GAME!! crap. ubi is my favorite 3rd-party... they need to start giving us something besides Rabbids and workouts. (though the rabbids can stay. love those little guys.)

Thanks Prosody, I feel educated now. Sounds like it's the software doing the work. What's the betting the next Rabbid mini-game game will have bodycam support. Or Red Steel 3, where you can chop people up, with your arm.

Natal looks horrific anyway. The Wiimote was bad enough, golf and tennis games were two of my favourite genres and they've been all but eliminated from my game time because standing up is too much effort... and Natal wants me to stand up to play Space Invaders. Get away from me

Why? Why would somebody do this? We've already learned that the whole "your body is the controller" gimmick has never worked, so why would you make ANOTHER "your body is the controller" gimmick game? Just...WHY?!?!
