Topic: TV Show King Updated

Just letting people know. Noticed this two days ago. No idea what it does. Anyone care to look into it?

That game should be taken off the Wii Shop since the sequel adds what the first didn't have, let alone being updated.

I wouldn't go that far.

So should Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2 be taken off the Shop since #3 adds what the first two didn't while updating them?

Admittedly, that's not the greatest example since SMB2 is very different (at least to me) compared to the other two but thanks for backing me up either way.

I can't say for sure but Tv Show King 2 must have all the questions as #1 plus a few thousand more, Online multiplayer, and more pricey so I don't see why the wii shop should keep #1 and rip some curious suckers people off.

i dont know what the updates are either but will find out. but tvsk 1 has its own style and questions so i doubt they use the those questions from the original game. every series has to start some where. but i dont think its fair to label originals as obsolete. but i understand that tvsk 1 didnt have any updates what so ever..

Be honest, would you rather choose to play Tv Show King 1 or 2. I know if I had both games I would delete #1 from my wii menu and sd card menu for storage space and never play it again.

Well, TVSK1 can be revisited for laughs at the blocky models and for the classic gameplay if for some reason you don't like the improvements.

Laughs? No offence but thats no reason a game should be revisited, or games like Allstar hockey wiiware would be revisited for laughs of its messy controls and cheapness, frustration.

The questions in both games are all different I thought?!

If onyone has played TV Show King 2 to death and know the answers to all questions, they can always get a few thousand new questions by downloading TV Show King 1.

AFAIK, yes, the questions are different.

And I think TV Show King has been updated to erase a few questions that are out of date and make no sense anymore like Michael Jackson's death etc.

No game should be removed off the Wii shop channel even if its a bad game or outdated. Only games with game breaking bugs should be removed and then added once they are fixed. Nintendo should really add something on their website or Wii shop channel that alerts people when updates are available.
