I haven't traded or sold a game since the SNES era. My biggest regret though is letting my dad borrow my PS1. At the time he was re-married and my step brother (now my ex-step brother) stole a bunch of games like Symphony of the Night, Suikoden, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy VII and a bunch more. The prices of those games went way up in recent years, but luckily most of them I can get on PSN now.
Every single trade-in I've ever done. I don't trade anymore but when I was in high school (about 10 years ago, yeah, I'm old) I traded in things all the time. I wish I wouldn't have traded stuff in, so I wouldn't had to rebuy that stuff later on. But then again I didn't have a source of income back then and it was the only way for me to purchase new games/systems.
I've got one. I once traded in Earthbound. That's right I said Earthbound. At the time I didn't know what it was. Once I realized what I'd done I felt terrible. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! How could I have traded in such a masterpeice? Sure enough when I ran back to the store to reclaim it they had already sold it. I wanted to die right there.

All my DS games I traded in when I was like 10. They were SM64 DS, NSMB, Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, Mario Kart DS, MVSD2, and Teen Titans for the gameboy advanced. I traded them in when I traded in my DS lite. 3 years later here I am with a DSi and only 3 DS games which are Sonic Colors, Sonic Classic Collection, and Mario and Sonic at the winter olympics.
Excite Truck on the Wii. That and Ridge Racer 3D are some of the few racing games (excluding the various Mario Karts) that I've actually enjoyed. Playing through Ridge Racer made me realise how good Excite Truck would be on the 3DS what with all the ridiculous jumps and whatnot...and then I wanted to play it on the Wii...but it wasn't there....
For Wii, I miss Resident Evil 4 and for PS3 Metal Gear Solid 4 and Bayonetta. That's all, and I trade a lot of games. They're not exactly rare or expensive anyway.
I usually only trade in a game if I have absolutely no more use for it. Either I wasn't getting into the game or have no desire whatsoever to go back. The only game I really miss now is New Super Marios Bros. DS, and even that one isn't that hard to live without. I think I regret selling my GBA SP the most, since at the time I sold it I didn't realize it was backwards-compatible with the entire Game Boy library. I kind of regret selling my PSP as well, as several games have come out for it that I would love to play. At the time, though, there just didn't seem to be anything to play and I kept getting annoyed at the lags caused by the optical disc format.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
As a rule I don't trade in games. I find I get use out of them later on. Plus, it sounds a little wanky, but I feel like my games collection shows a little bit about my history as a gamer! (More so my PC games, which have been bought over the last 15 years or so. My Wii and DS games I bought over a short space of time, which is more reflective of the fact that I have disposable income :/ )
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
Easily 50-75% of the games I traded in before I took gaming serious (i.e. joined these forums). Once I finished or got bored with a game, I'd trade it in, but now there are many (mostly 3rd party DS games) that I'd never trade back if I had them now. Of course, now I don't really do that, but there were always those games that definitely deserved to be traded back (Mario Party Advance).
Just my PS games, and the PS system I had. I had to go out and re-buy them all, for more than what I sold them for and in worse condition. I was... stupid.
I Trade in all my N64 Games... I'm going to miss SuperMan 64 the most
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Oh yes!. I've had to trade in quiet a few to raise money for the 3DS.
Off the top of my head Muramasa and Little King's Story (though I spent hours upon hours on both), but I reckon I could name about 7 wii games that 's would answer the question. With the DS games its not QUITE as bad - but there's two or three there too. There's probably quite a few PS2 and NGC games that I could name too.
Traded in a Bionicle Game on the gameboy I spent Months saving for. I was stuck in the same place, then I learned of FAQs and figured it out too late. Same with KH Chain of Memories for the GBA. I didn't know combining cards took them out of your deck.

I dont trade in. They tend to rip you off and I want a full collection when Im 90
I tried to trade in a game to Gamestop. I think it was Cima for the GBA. They were gonna give me 30 cents for it. They also over price games too. Final Fantasy IV DS, No box, nothing, $29.99. Im like HELL NO!
That's ludicrous. I regret, seriously, REGRET selling Bomberman Tournament and Golden Sun Lost Ages for Pokemon FireRed. It only gave me $4. Bomberman was messed up because of a stupid code on my AR that wouldn't let me proceed. And Golden Sun? I don't know. I was just a stupid 7th Grader. And it was AFTER a hurricane had passed through in early September (Hurricane Frances, then Hurricane Jeane came two weeks later).
