Topic: Trade in game regrets

Has anyone else ever traded in a game, or sold or whatever but don't own it anymore, any games that they regret and really wish they could play again. the main one for me is Mario Strikers Charged, but i do miss Super Mario Galaxy/Super Mario Bros Wii (but they are more that i think those 2 + SMG2 would make a neat trilogy, and Twilight Princess.

Conversely, has anyone not traded in a game because they think it may become worth something over time, not because they particularly like it or see yourself playing it again. The closest i have here is Metroid Prime Trilogy, but since I haven't played all the way through it, it doesn't count.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, I guess. I really despised the Control Pad controls, but now 3DS is here...

I dont trade in. They tend to rip you off and I want a full collection when Im 90

Understandable, but I didn't mean specifically trade-in at gamestop or wherever, but that or selling at a yard sale, ebay, amazon, or just gave away, but any game which you don't have and you would have to re-purchase to be able to play it again, But since you are looking for a full collection, i doubt any of these are applicable to you.
I don't really know the game Kingdom Hearts 258/2, what is that like?

Mario Strikers Charged as well, it was just too hard and I needed money for another game. They way I see it, I am clensing my gaming library. Getting rid of the trash, and using it to get another game that could have the potential to have a permanent place.

My Nintendo 64 and Rare games (esp. Diddy Kong Racing). Wish I still had them.

I pretty much compulsively keep my games. I am considering unloading my Genesis/Game Gear at some point. Pretty much any game I'll want to keep is on VC (or in the GG's case will be on 3DS VC). I don't know if I'll ever be able to bring myself to do it. Too many memories.

I don't really regret trading any of my Wii games. I do miss not having Mario Kart Double Dash though. At the time I thought the handling was a big departure from the N64 version. Not bad in any way, but it had a differen tfell to it. And there was no jump. But with hindsight, that's what set it apart.

Also, I regret trading games because if I do decide to buy something I once owned again, I know it probably won't be in the perfect condition I keep my games in.

I regretted trading away Super Mario 64 DS so much that I actually bought it again. O_O I also kind of regret trading away Partners in Time, but, I know if I hadn't traded it away, I would have been bored with it because the only thing left to do after completing the game is to defeat the final boss over and over again.

One of the more recent games I regretted trading ages ago was Red Dead Redemption. I was sick of the GTA-style games, and traded it in shortly after buying it when it was new. However, after watching True Grit and a bunch of other Westerns, I realized how much I loved the genre lol. Went back out and bought RDR again, and plowed through it and realized it starts slow, but was actually a great game! Now that I have beaten it, I want to download that Undead Nightmare DLC.
