Topic: Top 7 Wii FPS Games

I know this topic has been hit on before but with GoldenEye here and the new COD around the corner what is the top 7 FPS games on Wii?
I know games like Metroid and Red Steel are considered Action Adventure games but because the small amount of FPSs on Wii I think I'll include them. My list in no particular order is:

Medal of Honor:Heroes 2
Call Of Duty:Modern Warfare[reflex edition]
The Conduit
GoldenEye 007
Red Steel 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Onslaught

Medal of Honor:H2 had one of the first amazing online FPS multiplayer on the Wii that still has me coming back, it was great to see COD:MW on wii, The Conduit fell to the over hype problem but I love the conduit and will get conduit 2 when it comes out, my only big complaint is the sheer amount of hackers in the online multiplayer, automatic missile launchers are unfair(I'm looking at you hackers!), I hoped that GoldenEye wouldn't suck and luckily it didn't, and if IGN gives a Wii FPS a good score you know that it's got to be good!, Red Steel 2 is an action game I know but it felt to me like the wild west/samurai FPS I always wanted!, Metroid Prime 3 was an amazing game and even if it is a first person adventure game it has enough shooting for me to consider it an FPS, and add Prime 1&2 to the mix and trilogy steals the Wii lime light, Onslaught was short and clunky, but it showed such potential for a WiiWare FPS.

So there's my list, what's yours?

Red Steel 2 is the only Wii FPS I've enjoyed. In fact, I had the same reaction you did. Weird.

Otherwise I've played The Conduit and Call of Duty 3, and they're both terrible games. I hear that the other Call of Duty games are better, but still pale in comparison to their HD counterparts, leaving me with little reason to play them. Perhaps Goldeneye 007 will actually be worthy enough to put it on a list once I finally have a way to rent it?

I've only played 4:

The Conduit has it's faults, but it nailed the controls, has great weapons, and online play is a lot of fun (when you don't face hackers or spawn into paralysis). Every indication shows that Conduit 2 will fix the flaws from the first game (including online security patches) while adding more features like local multiplayer. Conduit 2 will be an instant-buy for me.

I have Metroid Prime Trilogy, but I've only played the opening section of Metroid Prime 1. I'll have to eventually get back to it, but I doubt a FPA will interest me quite as much as a classic FPS.

Onslaught is pretty good from what I've played, but I wish it had online deathmatches.

Despite the kid-friendly, non-violent premise, Water Warfare improves on Onslaught in every way to be THE WiiWare FPS except for two annoying problems: the sound effects are really bad, and every powerup has a set spawn point which just invites unfair item-spawn-camping, especially with the towels.

I may eventually get Goldeneye if I still want it after Conduit 2.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Out of the ones I've played(on the Wii).

Goldeneye
Red Steel 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
The Conduit
Water Warfare

In that order, MPT is only third because I'm not a big fan of the uber adventurery stuff but I can't deny the games are VERY well made.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for me, that's the one tha nailed it. The GC ports are ok but not as good as MP3 probably cos it was designed for Wii.

As for the rest - meh. Better on HD consoles

I still say that Modern Warfare Reflex is the best Wii FPS so far. Second place goes to Goldeneye, and then Metroid Prime series. After that, Conduit and Onslaught. I did more swordplay in Red Steel 2 than shooting

If you axe me, FPSs are best on the computer, but my favorite FPSs on wii are probably Goldeneye and Modern Warfare Reflex.

and maybe water warfare. ( OwO )

wont be on here anymore

Goldeneye and Conduit are my favorites, I've played some of Red Steel 2 and loved it, I have yet to buy it, though.

I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am.

lol I wasn't aware there WERE 7 FPS's on the Wii
I kid, I kid. But i'm not really into FPS's. I want to get GE eventually and I played MWReflex and the Metroid Prime games (More of FPA< IMO), but that's about it, I think

Metroid Prime Trilogy. Not only is it one of my favorite Wii games of all time, but it's one of my favorite games of all time.

I've just played:

-Medal of Honor Heroes 2: It's an average but fun FPS.
-The Conduit: good graphics and control, nothing else. I hate the ASE.
-Red Steel 2: great, the best I've played by far. I would like a little more variety and length.

1.) Metroid Prime Trilogy
1.) Modern Warfare: Reflex
2.) Conduit
3.) Red Steel 2
3.) Water Warfare

I put both MPT and MW:R as 1 because they're different genres and they're both awesome.

The only FPS shooters I have played on the Wii are GoldenEye and RE4 if that even counts as a FPS.

General I am not big on FPS since mainly they are war games like CoD which just dont interest me. I general enjoy shooters like GTA or Mafia 2 more but thats just me.

Hackers ruin it for everyone. I was a huge fan of The Conduit even before it came out and now I won't even bother to put the disk my Wii. It's hopeless to find a match where someone isn't cheating (or where you spawn outside the map).

It's only been a few days since Goldeneye released, but the leaderboards are already hacked. Lame lame lame.

No.

I would have a hard time finding 7 FPSs I thought were worth buying at all this gen, let alone for Wii.

Goldeneye 007 (I don't got it, but I think it is probably gonna be the best)

I played almost all of them and the only one I liked was Goldeneye, but even that isn't that great for an FPS game when compared to everything on every other system.
