Topic: Thinking About Getting MH3

I'm thinking about ordering Monster Hunter Tri this weekend with my paycheck but I don't want to get it if people don't still play online.

So... Is there still a big online playerbase?

There's a lot of people who play online, around 4 thousand last time I checked. It's a good game, this and brawl are the only games that I've logged over 100 hours on.

There is a HUGE amount of online players. Not to mention that there are quite a few here on NL. I'm sure we would help out a noob

LOL. A lot of us just started over with new characters on the online NA monster hunter friends list. If your from Europe. There is one for them to. Check it out we have loads of fun.

Also, is there a profile system? I have a little brother and I know he's going to want to play it too, and I'd like to let him play online but if he'd be playing under my account, so to say, then I don't think I'm going to. =O

Nope. You can both start your own games under different I'd numbers.

I purchased and received MHT the day it released, I still haven't finished the single-player campaign, though I have made it my goal to finish it in the next month.

I'm still low level online, so I would be more than glad to do some online hunts with you. If you get into the game like some of the guys I know that play it, you could probably pass me in about a week or so of playing online. I play it slowly, but surely, and I'm really enjoying the game.

I'm going to be late to the party as well but I will for sure do some online hunting when I get the chance.
