I'm sure this is old news to many, but I don't see anyone mentioning it, anywhere. I picked up Intellivision lives for the DS, and after putting in an embarrassing amount of hours, decided to up a recommendation, only to find out that it's not supported.
This also reminded me that there are many games that the Nintendo channel doesn't recognize, like the original Phantasy Star, in terms of seeing your gameplay records. I mean, it's just keeping a tally of the hours you spend playing, shouldn't this be easily implemented, and cover everything you play on the system?
These are small issues, but you can't get info on this, or games that aren't acknowledged, or if there are even plans to include them in the future updates, as Ninty doesn't add forums to it's sites ( Club Nintendo / Official site, etc. ).
I guess I'd just like to hear from them that they're aware of this, or that this is something that could change in the future. Truth is, I like seeing how many hours of my life I've frittered away on some distant planet...
I've had a problem with the Nintendo Channel records too. For some reason a game shows up with less than an hour of gameplay on it even though I never played it... It might be because my original Wii had to be sent to Nintendo for repairs, so my current Wii is probably a refurbished one. They are supposed to clear all of the data from Wiis before sending them out though...
I am the TrueWiiMaster! Those who call the Wii casual BEWARE!
Yeah, that's another thing. The times are off, sometimes. My Twilight Princess save, and my record are almost four hours off. I bought my Wii brand new two years ago.
I just used it for the videos....then again I stopped doing that because the videos always never load completely. (after a while the videos start becoming laggy because of this)

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I hate how some of my most played games don't have the times logged with the Wii - for instance, Cricket. I must have sunk 20-30 hours into that game just playing a test match, but no, the data is not on my Wii
I was having problems with the videos loading too, so I went into settings and chose low-res for videos. Now they load immediately and play without interruption.
I believe that part of the problem also comes down to the Today logs are also wrong. Some times when a games Is first launch it shows up as other. That's what happened to a few of my games like animal crossing and wii play. The Nintendo channel also doesn't recognize the first Rayman's Raving Rabbids. As far as the today screen is conserned I noticed it stopped recording gamecube playtime as other all together so now I can no longer keep track of that.
I used to have the same problem with the videos until i switched to FiOS. Now they play without a hitch. So it may be dependent on what sort of service provider you have.
The only game I own or have played on my Wii that it didn't keep track of time played is Resident Evil 4 and I'm pretty sure if it had/did it would be my second most played game after Monster Hunter Tri.
