You're like one of those whiny minority groups who keeps complaining that they're being discriminated against every time someone looks at them, and bitterly decries every group except their own.
Ah, you see that'd only work if I was asking for a game I'd like.

Nasty cold there.
Honestly though, if you keep it up, I think you'll end up turning people off LKS by association. Remember that episode where Jim performs the Pavlov experiment on Dwight and trains him to expect and altoid every time his computer goes ping? And then one day he doesn't give him an altoid? And then Dwight's like, 'hmm, I suddenly have such a bad taste in my mouth'

It's already failed sales-wise, a few people here turning the game down isn't going to make it do any worse. lol
And replace Little King with Deadly Creatures. There's a game that doesn't appeal to me whatsoever but I give credit to what the developers did.

It's not just the sales though. You'd be turning people off an experience that is criminal to deny someone. It's exactly like murdering a kid. And who cares about europeans anyway. Europeans have way too many languages and way too few showers. NA is the predominant market. Maybe it'll sell well here and they'll learn their lesson about what region to release in first.
I can't convince you that The Conduit is good, and I don't really care to. But here's another way of looking at it: regardless of how you feel, The Conduit is widely acknowledged to have great graphics on a technical level and great customisable controls. You're right that it's generic - that anyone could have made it. And that anyone is HVS. Regardless of how good this game is in its design and art, it sets a precedent for Wii games.
The devs of Silent Hill have already said they looked to The Conduit for how to do controls properly, and HVS has made their own Wii game engine that other devs can use. That means that others who have greater artistic talent than HVS can make games based on that engine, and since those devs don't have to worry about making their own engine or buying one from big-name devs, that's more money and time to work on their games. So maybe you can give them some credit, even though their game doesn't appeal to you.

In short, HVS is taking the Wii seriously than most developers that had done a Wii game. That also includes Nintendo themselves in some ways.

This would be a good time to tell you this site is based in the UK. lol

I give credit for the customizable controls and the engine.
Customizable controls are slightly overrated, since a great control scheme from the start usually doesn't need tweaking, but it's a nice little extra other developers don't care for, for some reason. And it'd be nice if someone who values artistic as much as technical graphics used the engine to make an all-around visually pleasing game.

"@ Clickityclick" Not cool. I'm not sure what sterotypical image appears in your mind when you imagine a European, but you can sit and swivel my friend. I'l remind you we all know plenty Canadian jokes.

Yes, did you ever think that maybe you have too many showers and not enough languages?
As for the Conduit recieving too much hype i would call this people having high expectations, if it doesn't live up to what has been promised then it won't bode well for HVS's other announced title's. Why don't we all just wait and see?

lol! nah, the UK has made it clear that they don't consider themselves a part of Europe anyway. Besides, if I were trying to make fun of the UK, I'd have mentioned how they all speak with speech impediments.

First I've heard it.
Precedents need to be set slowly. We didn't just go straight from amino acids floating in the primordial soup to monkeys banging on our keyboards. Half-Life didn't spring out of nothingness on the PC, and HL2's physics engine was based on the engine developed by Havok, which they modded. Salk wouldn't have been able to develop the polio vaccine if Og the Caveman hadn't discovered fire. Any game that has serious effort put into it is useful in the long run, even though it doesn't appear to be much.
Another thing that The Conduit does is put an emphasis on Wii online multiplayer. That deserves some recognition, especially when you have a game like Ghostbusters coming out now on Wii, but without the online multiplayer that the 360 and PS3 versions have. We constantly get gimped versions. The Conduit doesn't have good enemy design or much imagination, but it does set a precedent, and devs won't be able to get away with giving us gimped games because they think the Wii just 'doesn't do' online and no-one's interested in it.

@clickityclick: You are indeed, a complete, and total idiot.
For some reason your sense of humor hasn't met a nice reception here Clickety. lol

I agree with that.
Of course we won't know the degree of usefulness for a while.

A lot of Wii owners have already caught on to the "Oh Wii can't do online" thing but I see what you're saying.
Though IGN has already raised concerns about the online, and if the game doesn't hold up well a while after release, that might support some developer's claims that the Wii isn't suited for online play.

Well, honestly I can't say I expected much. Europeans wouldn't know humour if it happy-slapped them and their chav friends right in the face.
You know that skit Monty Python did about lumberjacks? Well, that was the only skit in which they weren't acting. They're actually Canadians who are mocking british people.

Ya, I hope that doesn't happen. It's certainly not "broken" as you say (!) but it is a worry. Maybe I'm just bitter but I think this is Ninty's fault. After all, it's being hosted on their servers. Their servers, their problem. They still can't seem to figure it out. Seems all of their games have lag or connection problems.
