Lolz JK, The first one hasn't even came out yet (one hour and 30 minutes remaining.) But, do you think High Voltage will be releasing a sequel? Maybe around 2011-2012? Give me your opinions. Would you buy The Conduit II?
I don't think Sega has any say if there is another one. They are just the publisher. Someone else made it. If it's good I'd like to see another for the fans, but I won't be playing it.
Unless High Voltage sells the IP to a developer with talent, I highly doubt it.
You know, you really should TRY the game first before constantly bashing it. You could rent it which is what I am going to do.
Anyway, it is too early to say if they are going to continue with their plans on a sequel; they say they do have plans for one, but we'll see how the first one turns out.

Oh I'll find a way to play it. I wouldn't want to miss out on all the excitement.
With that said saying "Hey no bashing until you play the game" would only be acceptable if people said "Hey no praising until you play the game".
Unfortunately High Voltage's lies have had susceptible Wii owners hyping this game for a year and it wouldn't be fair to only let those that see good in the game voice their opinion.
There's absolutely nothing special about the game for people who own other consoles, and IGN just confirmed this. There's already a reason right there to bash the game coming from developers that think they're God's gift to the Wii.
I'm afraid The Conduit has been hyped to the point that I'm not sure if it could ever live up to it. And I say bring on Animales de la Muerte. Enough Conduit already.

IGN is full of it, and just going by one reviewer, Matt the Ass of all people, either makes you a sheep or just want something baseless to bash like a troll.
BTW: I dont care for The Conduit that much, but I don't act so spoiled, but whatever.
Outside of the best controls for an FPS I suppose you're correct, but I fail to see how this warrants calls of "lies" or bashing the game repeatedly.
I suppose it's okay when people repeatedly say High Voltage is "trying" and that they "care" about the Wii.
People that praise these dimwits endlessly aren't told to limit their opinion, so neither should people that can actually see things for what they are. They made a FPS that could have been done last gen, gave it motion controls and hyped it to hell and back. Almost ANY developer could have done that, yet they're acting like they've achieved something here.
And you don't have to quote lies as if you're iffy about it. They have lied, in almost every interview.
@AlexSays Despite what anyone has said or done, none of use and a majority of world has not played the game. But I do agree with you on one point: If the folks who praise the game can be heard with no retort, then why be criticized for saying that you don't believe all the hype?
I think the bottom line is that the Wii does seem to have on par or sub par graphics compared to the GameCube, honestly. It seems to me that the Wii has a flood of developers exploiting the appeal to the very young crowd by mass producing Dora and Spongebob and producing at least one game for every Pixar movie. We also see an abundance of "family friendly" games and many games that just looked rushed and or poorly developed. With this said, I think The Conduit is hyped the way it is due to the graphics, due to the controls. From what I have seen, it looks to be an amazing game. I will know more tomorrow when I pick it up.
Vegeta: Just...just...transform damn you... Bulma: We are going to have a penthouse sweet...and he'll drive a corvet...and we will make love every single... Zarbon: (transforms) Bulma: KILL IT WITH FIRE!

Still not seeing the "lies," sorry, and I think that people don't get criticised for hyping the game because many people are in fact looking forward to it. If you want to create a thread called "Why I Hate the Conduit" knock yourself out; I personally don't have enough time to go posting in every thread about SSBB or Mario Kart to say why I think those games aren't interesting, so I don't see the point in that exercise myself.
And with regard to the point about how any dev could have done it, well, clearly nobody else did and that is why the game is so hyped, but I figured you already knew that...
If you want, Sean, we can split all the Mario Kart Wii threads in half. You can complain in one half, and I'll take the other. Maybe that will give you enough time.

So you believe The Conduit is the best looking game on the Wii?
Oh and there's a lot of people not looking forward to it. There's actually one forum where the hate got so bad, they had to make one topic for it all.

So they get all their praise for doing something that could have been done last gen, but it's all cool because nobody else did it.
See I'd rather praise the makers of Little King's Story, who actually developed a unique game found no other place, and didn't hype the game to hell and back. They let the game speak for itself and a few critics regard LKS as a masterpiece.
Those devs get no credit whatsoever, but High Voltage makes a generic FPS with broken online and suddenly they're the best thing ever.

Debate tip #1: When you exaggerate everything, people will take you seriously.
On that Forum of Legend, there are approximately 3 people who share your views and exaggerations of the game. All the rest are nicely spread across giddy excitement, moderate or tentative hope, or some skepticism.
You're like one of those whiny minority groups who keeps complaining that they're being discriminated against every time someone looks at them, and bitterly decries every group except their own.

Ah, you see that'd only work if I was asking for a game I'd like.
