Don't get your hopes up too much on the online. CoD:W@W and Water Warfare end up working better than this game. Epic single player, definitely not "clan" worthy though, especially since the auto-balance doesn't let clans stay on the same team! (And you can't hear them in that situation) WiiSpeak is mostly useless because of echo and feedback (takes awhile to get the settings right) and the "proximity voice" engine they use in FFA matches makes everyone inaudible.
The hit detection is Halo-ish (at best) so if you like unloading a full clip, throwing a grenade, and pulling off an impossible melee attack (players clip through each other online) just to get a SINGLE kill... Have fun.
@Chatham: This isn't the OFFICIAL clan there are no prizes, there are no leaders, just a bunch o guys lookin' to shoot at each other, for fun!
And cheers for trashing the game I haven't had chance to play yet, what was the point in me avoiding Conduit related threads, if your just gonna come in here n' go SPLURGE!
@Machu I'm just as disappointed as you, trust me. I wanted the online be good too, it just isn't. The inclusion of distance in clients after July 10th won't make avoiding lag any easier.
If you were avoiding Conduit threads, you failed by coming here in the first place. At least I didn't come in and tell you the Drudge really are... Nevermind... I'm not that much of a dick, just warning you not to get your hopes up to be crushed like I was.
I find the Conduits online is very fun and addictive. All the times I go on I never suffer lag, lose connection, or get that glitch anymore. On top of it all I have a bad connection in this case. The single player is alright but nothing spectacular unlike in other FPS like CoD 5.
I`ve never played Water Warfare but I know Conduit is better than CoD 5 in all kinds of ways. And seriously WHO wants to play ANOTHER World War II FPS?

@Machu Some do, some don't. After playing so much Hardcore COD I guess the HP on the characters online really irked me though. Halo fans will get what they want though.
The control setup is EPIC too, there is something to get excited about
WW2 YAWN! Although I still play Day of Defeat now and again.
@Chatham: Yeah the controls are why I'm in. Gonna complete it, perfecting my settings en route so I feel fluid, then take the pain online. Just glad I've got Tiger to keep me distracted till then (although I just spooned one and got mad).
I agree with chrono cross. I glitch sometimes, but it's pretty rare. there are alot more weapons than in CoD5, but you'll have to look abit to find alot of them. I've spent over 5 hours online,and 10 hours in story mode, and I just got it 3 or 4 days ago.

@Machu A gripe about the controls... The real-time results leave you open to enemy fire without any ability to retaliate... And the AI is so smart they WILL chase you back a few hallways to get you mid-adjustments!

LALA dont wanna hear you say that online sucks this is EU here everyone has broadband not like many in america and where just for the fun i don't mind battle a match or 2 against machu as long as i have fun (something i didn't had with COD 5 where most poeple use a rifle with grenade launcher)
I think the conduit is probably has the best online gameplay for wii,but I haven't played a whole lot of online wii games
