Let's call it Zelda: The Blank Canvas Regular gameplay is the realistic adult Link as in Twilight Princess but preferably more realistic.. then, There are dream sequences or maybe he jumps into artwork or stained glass windows, in which the graphics look like Phantom Hourglass/Windwaker... More cartoony.. so the best of both worlds.. but the catch is when he gets to Death Mountain, towards the end, fantasy and reality collide and you dont know what is real and what isnt anymore and he needs to use some sort of filter/visor to distinguish things....
I can tell you it won't be done. It would certainly give it visual flare, but the same effect could done by making certain parts very dark (in style) and others more like they've been overexposed (everything is kind of bright, but kind of strange looking, don't know how to describe it). The reason I say this is because there will be plenty of people who won't like the cartoon-ish part.
