I've heard both people who say the the game is ruined by glitches and others who say that they're not that bad. Now I'm on the fence about buying it. So, are the technical problems a deal breaker or not?
Not a deal breaker, IMHO. I've played through the 1st episode twice. No problems other than the graphics sometimes being a little slow and the sound being a bit compressed. It is still fun.
Well if someone on YouTube had a video showing you exactly what you'd experience I think that would help you. So far I'm trying to get used to the technical issues.
I downloaded the game tonight when it came out and I don´t regret it. The graphical lag and hiccuped voiceover doesn´t bother me as much as it did in Sam & Max Season 1 (Disc-Game! and there these problems are sometimes nearly gamebreaking, my Wii even froze once!) and the muffled sound isn´t as bad as some people want you to believe. It can get a little annoying when you play the prologue with LeChuck because of all the soundeffects like the sea splashing and so on, but after that it doesn´t really matter any more (I´m only halfway through tough, so this can change).
4-6 hours. It's an adventure game, there's puzzles, and you may get stuck at some for a while, so it's kind of hard to come up with a more exact average.
