I got it today and finished it today in about 4,5 hours. The framerate"problem" doesn´t matter much, as I wrote before it is not nearly as bad as in Sam & Max Season 1 for Wii.

As I've said elsewhere on this forum, the framerate issue was generally not a problem at all -- the place where it is at its worst is the brief intro scene with LeChuck, and after that it only jerks each time a new sound is being loaded into memory, but if you stop for a moment when something is loading before walking further, it does just fine.

Twitter is a good place to throw your nonsense.

I think this is what started that whole discussion, it´s really inconvienient that the technical problems are at their worst during the prologue. I think most people who complained about the hiccups didn´t play until Guybrush washed up on Flotsam, because after that the dialogue is perfectly understandable and the graphic lag isn´t as bad as before...

Agreed. The lag is pretty bad during the Intro but otherwise it's not great but it certainly is bearable. Some little kinks here and there but I'm hopeful for Episode 2 that they'll be able to rectify said issues.

Uhh.. I bought the game yesterday and it really has a sloppy framerate most of the time, and in between decompression "loading" times before each cutscence, and normal loading times between each location. My game has frozen one time already when I was walking from one screen to another. I just hope Telltale Games can update this, at least to a version where there's no freezing and a faster running intro sequence - it's sooo slow it's disgracing and throws a dark light on the rest of the game.

Anyway, I'm 2 hours into the game and I like it so far. Now with a game like Monkey Island I wish the developers had put more time to polish into it. I want an update, and I really hope the second episode gets a tuning from the get-go!
