They came out with the commercial for it. Looks like another awesome commercial that at the same time will appeal to the family crowd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7W_rtjPveQ
Am I the only one that has no desire to see a story in the Mario platformers? I mean, for the Mario & Luigi/Paper Mario games it works (most of the time) but I think trying to give something like Galaxy 2--which prides itself on the random and ridiculous--a sense of context; let alone a coherent story.
You're not the only one. I don't understand it when people complain that they want more story in their Mario. Mario has never been and never will be about story, so I'm fine with the same old Peach gets kidnapped stuff.

I think the story is what keeps me into a game the most. Since Mario games don't have much story, I'll probably be cool with a little story. Hopefuly it will have somewhat of a story. I did read that there was gonna be less story.

My local library will eventually have it. Ill put it on hold immediately and when I get it, i will beat it in the free 2 week rental. Since there's no replay value like level sharing or online co op, ill probably beat it, and have no use for it again, saving myself a 50 dollar coaster. Thats how Ill do it from now on.
Should I buy this game or The Island of Dr. Frankenstein (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/islandofdrfrankenstein) , which I haven't played it. Can't decide what to buy first!
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...

Actually, I really enjoyed Rosalina's side story in the first, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of something akin to that.
I just recently completely beat SMG with Luigi finally, in anticipation of SMG2. I forgot how frustrating Luigi's Purple Coin stage was - damn slippery Luigi doesn't help either. I must have tried that stage 30-40 times. I really felt like throwing the controller at times. That said, I'm looking forward that SMG2 will present a greater challenge. While SMG is a very fun game, it's sooo incredibly easy with the exception of a few purple coin stages.
