From what the article says, it's the SM All-Stars versions of 1, 2 (US version), Lost Levels (Japan's SMB2) and SMB3. There are rumors that Super Mario World may be included.

It is scheduled for release on October 21st for 2,500 yen (cheap, huh?) and also comes with a Super Mario history booklet covering the 25 year history of Mario games and a soundtrack.

And lastly, there will be a limited print run for 2010 so this won't be lasting long.

Thoughts?

Seeing as I have all of those except SMB3, bit pointless for me to get this. If they included loads of Mario games, then maybe.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I hope it comes overseas. I love collections that offer extras. :3

Seems rather pointless if it's going to be All Stars in disc form. All the games are on the VC in their NES form. Now a good collection would be to release all the Mario Kart games using the Wii Motion controls. Give the original game a 3D makeover and speed it up.
