Topic: Sonic Adventure DX is getting another remake?

If this news is true, Sonic Adventure DX might be getting a multi-platform remake or re-release.

DX seemed to have more glitches... and a wonky frame rate traded off against better draw distance. Be good if they fixed it properly.

Seems likely, given the announcement of a new 2-D Sonic game. It'll build hype and get the fanboys excited.

If they fix the glitches and the camera problems it'll be the best 3-D Sonic ever. SEGA--all you have to do is fix the glitches and camera problems! That is all! And it'll be the best 3-D Sonic ever! Please just do it!

@StarFox: Considering that it's mixed reviewed, not sure. All they need to do is focus on getting the 2-D Sonic game on the Wii.

Thats easily the best 3D sonic right there. Loved the Race multi.

It's fun but there are some annoying camera problems (not as bad as Sonic Adventure, though). The Race multi IS a lot of fun, I must say.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is the best 3D Sonic game ever made. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle actually feels like a true Sonic game. But since then, Sega went radically downhill with every 3D Sonic game after that.

IMO, Sonic Heroes is the best 3D game. It's very underrated. I think it's the closest thing to a true Sonic game, besides the daytime levels in Sonic Unleashed. Sonic Adventure DX is good but it's overrated. I don't think it's the best 3D Sonic.

Sonic Adventure 2 was indeed the best 3D Sonic. (are there any differences between the DC original and Battle?), and Sonic Adventure would have done much, MUCH better without the camera problems and those goddamn fishing stages. (What the hell were they thinking?)

Sonic Adventure 2 battle is the best sonic game possible one of my top ten favorite games. It was my first home console game. I got this, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Mario Sunshine with my gamecube

Lets see some high preduction values this time. Making everything work excellently would be a huge difference.

Big's levels would be fun if they didn't seem to be nearly broken.

I have it and love it to death since well its in my top 5 favorite GC games.

Anyway, yeah I would love to see a remake of this game since I know SEGA could update and make many things that were wrong with this game BETTER.

Adding to this, Amy's stages would have been more fun if she wasn't so slow. Her stages were meant to be traditional platforming, but since it moved really slow, it was no fun at all.
I think that the fishing stages shouldn't have been there in the first place. Putting fishing in a Sonic game is like buying a Ferrari so you can sleep in the back seat.
And, what's the difference between SA2 for the Dreamcast and SA2B?

I'll get it, just as long as it doesn't suffer from the glitches and framerate problems of SADX

Let me introduce you to Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

I know they slightly improved the graphics, improved the Chao mechanics, and added the multiplayer modes. I'm not sure if they did anything else.

I agree that SA2B is the best 3D Sonic game. It's a toss up between SA2B and Sonic 3 & Knuckles as the best Sonic game ever.

The 3D games don't come close to the 2D games IMO, not even the Adventure ones, I'd put all the Genesis versions as well as Sonic 1, 2 Chaos and Triple Trouble for the Master System/Gamegear, Sonic CD and Chaotix I would rate all those higher than the 2 Sonic Adventure games, I actually like the Adventure titles but the 2D versions are just so much better as far as I'm concerned .
