Wow, those are some in depth lists. Consider this: EA's Tiger Woods was kicking but in sales; Ninty wasn't going to hurt a good thing. However, things may change 'a bit'. I don't think the franchise will tank from the rumors, but it probably will hurt. The hook I am looking at with this is, MARIO GOLF may finally makes it's arrival on Wii...hmmm...
Which system/company do you like? I LIKE VIDEO GAMES
Don't forget about Lego Harry Potter. If it's as good and funny as Lego Star Wars, I'm definitely getting it next year.
If the camera in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is as messed up and hard to control as the camera in SMG1, I'm not interested.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
As far as Nintendo games go, my most anticipated title is Super Mario Galaxy 2. As far as non-Nintendo games, Final Fantasy XIII is my most anticipated title.
If the only game coming out in 2010 was No More Heroes 2, I would have no complaints. But then there's Endless Ocean 2, Metroid: Other M, Sin and Punishment 2, and maybe even The Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Galaxy 2 Super MB Touch&Roll Sonic & Sega All Star Racing Tatsnuko vs Capcom Metroid Prime Other M Epic Mickey Span Smasher
Excitebots (IF it ever comes to the EU) Star Wars Rogue Squadron Wii (prob 2011 if it happens) Zelda WiiMotionPlus (prob 2011).
Radar, pending reviews:
Monster Hunter Tri Pokepark Wii Lost in Shadow Aaragon's Quest
Unlikely, but small chance of purchase:
Sin and Punishment 2 (stupidly hardcore???) Flip's Twisted World (SM Galaxy 2 is coming) Line Attack Heroes (too WiiWare-ish???) Ubisoft Your Shape (Already have Wii Fit Plus and have sold EA Sp Active) Endless Ocean 2 (had the first, good, but got my fill there)
WiiWare insta-DL pending disasters:
Cave Story Neves Plus (EU release??!!) Bonk WiiWare Overturn (EU release??!!) Night Sky Carnival King (EU release??!!) Cocoto Festival (WiiWare or retail??!!) Morbius Racing (EU release??!!) Liight Zombie Panic Worms WiiWare Max and Magic Marker Rage of the Gladiator Excitebots M.Island (remaining eps) Pheonix Wright Wiiware games
any year with releases in all 3 of nintendo's biggest franchises is automatically a good one. mario looks to be a more straightforward sequel, but metroid and zelda will have entries that redefine each series. i'd be convinced to buy just by hearing an announcement for a new metroid or zelda, but the promise of something entirely different makes it even better.
red steel 2 might be the first promising game of the year; but... the last 'great hardcore pushing-the-wii-to-the-max' game i bought turned out to be the conduit. i'm not falling for that again.

Unless something serious is broken Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Red Steel 2 are instant winners. That alone makes 2010 seem decent but on top of that we are getting games like Tatsnuko vs Capcom, Metriod Other M, the rest of the Bit Trip Series and Pokemon HG/SS for the DS.
2010 is looking very good... already, even with just what we know, its better than 2009.

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is FOR SURE the #1 most anticipated game next year. The original Super Mario Galaxy blew my mind. It was perfection. But can you really top perfection? We'll see.
Also Metroid: Other M looks awesome, Golden Sun DS is a must (own the lost age but never played original). After reviews for other games I'll see unless I forgot anything.....

i must be the only person who doesnt care about mario galaxy 2.
I love the internet.
Doesn't matter how good something looks, or how enthusiastic people are, there's always someone who feels the need to make the effort to express how Not Bothered they are.
