Ever since that mess with the VC version of Last Ninja 3 in Europe we haven't had a single commodore 64 game released. Some problem with hellish copy protection that caused a bug. They had to remove it from the shop too. Real shame because that game looked great. I don't know if anyone cares but It's not looking like we'll be getting anymore. They don't want to risk it again I suppose.

Who knows how it works. People said that about the Neo Geo and we've had a ton of releases for that recently. I also agree - they need to release Creatures. Wasn't that rated at some point?

Tis a shame that the VC has died off, especially with so many good C64 games still not on there. I would have loved the Amiga to be supported also. A lot of good Neo geo and master system games not released and too many Arcade games to mention the VC seems now a somewhat missed oppurtunity.I can only hope that Nintendo are saving all this for Wii 2 VC (well I can dream)
It's a shame, I would have bought Impossible Mission. But like others have pointed out, we all thought Neo Geo was done on the VC too, and it's the system with the most releases as of late, so maybe there is hope for the C64 too. If it makes a comeback, though, I hope they improve the quality of their emulation. As for the Neo Geo, I am very happy that it is back, because unless the games come on a compilation disk, the VC is pretty much my only option to play them (short of illegal emulation).
I think this site still has Archon coming to WiiWare from EA - how many people believe that? I think it's more likely we'll see WiiWare revivals of C-64 games than any actual C-64 games. A shame too as I really would have liked those old Lucasfilm Games titles...
Its a shame that there aren't likely to be any more C64 games, there were a number of games I wanted to see even if I wasn't going to download them myself.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
I doubt that well will see anymore VC titles for awhile at least other than Arcade. The publishers are probably going to be concentrating on the 3DS VC now since that will be the latest and greatest thing now. 3DS VC will probably drop when Nintendo announces and releases the follow up for the Wii.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
New Ghostbusters II (developed by HAL for the Famicom) was alright. Much better than Activision's NES game. Though HAL's could've been better with a 2-player option, since you play as a team of 2 Ghostbusters and the CPU's AI is kinda dumb. Oddly both games were released in PAL. (HAL also developed a similar Ghostbusters II for Game Boy that was released in all three regions.)
When it comes to licenses material such as Ghostbusters 2 those are a bit harder to release on the VC than normal non license material. The company that had the license then may not hold it now. Currently I think the Ghostbusters video game license is help by Atari.
