This has already begun with EA Nation, Mario Kart Wii, Conduit and the next Guitar Hero. Now, according to Vicarious Visions it will be the new standard from here on.
Are you saying that this has already happened with these titles, or is it going to be like that later? I'm too lazy to put my MK Wii disc in and all that now...
Friend codes will still be there. Just a bit more streamlined since the address book is now included as an option. Yes, their online system sucks and I own a 360, but anything is a step forward to what they have now.
Btw, for the one who asked earlier, MK Wii is considered to have the best online system on the console. It blew ppls minds after the abysmal online structure of SSB.
I actually prefer local play due to laughs and nudgeing and such, but like many that's not always possible. My friends and I have grow up a lot since the N64 era.
