Never played Wario ware smooth moves, but Rhythm heaven fever is a fantastic game, the music is always catchy, and it is a steal for $30

Wario Ware is best when friends are over...Fever can be played alone or when friends are over since it can be fun to watch/take turns. No clue about its multiplayer though.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Rhythm heaven fever is a great game but its one fault is multiplayer was added as an afterthought, and is not as good as it could have been.

Rhythm heaven fever isn't out in Europe yet but Warioware: smooth moves is an awesome game and I think its far better than Rhythm paradise on DS so I doubt I would like Rhythm heaven fever as much as WW:SM either. WW:SM is great in multi-player but its a lot of fun in single player too.
Rhythm Heaven is a one trick pony. It's a good trick, but how much you enjoy the game will depend entirely on how much you like tapping in time with the rhythm. WarioWare has a lot more wacky variety with all kinds of odd mini-games requiring quick reaction. Doesn't mean it's a better game... but it's got a wider appeal in my opinion.
(Most people will like both though, so you will probably be happy either way.)
Have both, really like both, but would probably give both an 8/10. Or a 7/10 using Nintendo Life's scale. Rhythm Heaven is more straight forward but would probably also take longer to get all perfect scores on. Warioware doesn't really have the same 'perfect' scoring idea. Warioware is much more varied but you can "complete" the gameboard pretty early and then you're just trying to one-up your (or other players') scores per game. For the price, I'd say get both. If I could only have one for the rest of my life it would probably be RH. It's just a bit slicker.
