Topic: Random stats the Nintendo Channel told me about myself

Sure, some of these stats might be a bit misleading, I've been known to leave my Wii on for extended amounts of time without using it. But still, it's interesting.

Most played game (time): Metroid Prime Trilogy (107h 56m)
Most played game (number of times): Mario Kart Wii (46 times)
After 2nd placed MKWii (80h), the third most played game is over 50h fewer than MKWii.
Most played WW game: Icarian: Kindred Spirits (12h 34min)
Most played VC game: Super Mario 64 (20h 47min)
I've only played LiT once... For 7 hours straight.
I also played through Disaster: Day Of Crisis in 2 sittings... Total time 12h 23min.
I've played Final Soldier 7 times, and it still doesn't add up to 1 hour.
App I've spent the most time in is the Internet Channel (346h 25min)... Not sure how that happened really. Although I have used it as a second screen quite a lot, for streaming Youtube vids mostly.
App I've started most times is the Wii Shop Channel... A mammoth 378 times?!?!?! I mean, I know I did the WW chart for a year there but still... Yikes...

My records say that I played No More Heroes for 5 minutes, lol.

It wasn't me, but the person who owned the Wii before me.

after getting my wii reformated (deleting everything, including my playtimes) it says i've played super mario galaxy for a grand total of 2 minutes 0.0

i should probably pop that one in for another playthrough sometime.

My stats told me to find a more worthwhile hobby, basically. So I have.

My stats say I have played ActRaiser for 1 min even after I beat the game on normal difficulty.

i don`t think it works all that well tbh.
there`s stats on there for games that i don`t play so much, that i know for a fact that i`ve played more times than it says i have.
but i`m sure it`ll correct it`s self over time, or, atleast i hope so.

Holy crap, that game has only been out for a few months.

My son and I have logged these: (We also have a habit of leaving the system on. Not sure how that factors in. However, my wife still rolls her eyes at our addiction!)

Zelda: Twighlight Princess 788 hrs. 37 min. 241 times
LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga 234 hrs. 1 min. 54 times
Mario Kart Wii 167 hrs. 38 min. 57 times

Wow. My son did learn to play video games on Zelda. He loves riding around the overworld. Still some stats are definately whack on my system. I have four more games over 100 hours and one only shows 14 play times. Ten hours a pop. I don't think so. This thing probably got left on while we were away for the weekend. It must keep track even when it starts to hibernate.

Wow, there is a new Nintendo Channel that kept track of those things. I need to download it as soon as I get home. I think the most hours are spent on Mario Kart Wii, but the stats might be off because my Wii has been replaced last year because of the artifact problem.

I think the most interesting stat I have is for Super Mario Bros. I have played it 99 times for a total of 14hours and 18mins. Works out to be just over 8mins per play. Its interesting to see how quickly those small sessions add up.

Another cool stat is Wii Sports vs. Wii Sports Resort. I have played Wii Sports 124 times more than Resort but have only spent an extra 20hours on it. On average I have spent about 30mins on Wii Sports and 1hour 10mins on Resort. All of this and I have only had Resort for a few months and the original Wii Sports has been played since Christmas 2006. What is this stat telling me? I think its telling me that my Dad has worked out how to turn on the Wii to play Golf, Basketball, Frisbee and Bowling in Wii Sports Resort.... he now beats me in all of them.

Yeah, well... What can I say... I like it... And atleast one time I forgot to turn it off when I went to sleep... That time accounts for atleast 15 hours... And probably some 5 odd hours of stand by time... But that still leaves about 85ish hours of playing time... So yeah... I just like it... Best thing on the Wii thus far for sure.

Hey, your 107 hrs on Metroid Trilogy is on pace to crush my Zelda spanned over three years! You have the problem, not me! (Sarcasm) The first step is knowing you have a problem, I have lots of excuses...it runs when I set the controller down and forget it's on...there are people with more time on Modern Warfare and that game doesn't keep track of time spent in the interface while changing classes, etc... and thank goodness there was nothing tracking my time playing Mortal Kombat III, Super Tecmo Bowl, Romance of the Three Kingdoms III or Goldeneye 007 back in my younger years!

Seriously, it's a lot either way. But I don't think we've spent 3 hours in a sitting since beating the game the first time through. And my stats say that's what we average. Maybe it was on when I went to the beach last year for two weeks...hmmm...I'll use that one!

Looks good the new channel. I have played Mario Kart Wii 110 times for 126 hour and 39 minutes. Number 2 is Dr. Mario & Germ Buster with 116 times and 103 hours and 19 minutes. It's too bad that this isn't my first Wii (got a new one from Nintendo after the artifacts problem), no I've got an incomplete feeling.

Warioland: Shake It!

on friend's Wii. 1 play, 17 hours 21 minutes, 100% completion.

It wasn't even that great...I dunno, just easy enough that I didnt' ever get frustrated, just compelling/hard enough that I wanted to get all the items/secret levels. Only time in memory that I can recall starting a game for the first time, and in one straight play session (with a friend) completing everything a game has to offer.

Did you ever get around to beating either of these games? lol

nope. just Wii, WiiWare and VC.

Here's an amusing statistic: The games I've played the most and the least I don't even own.

600+ hrs and 150+ times for Guitar Hero World Tour which I sold off earlier this year.

1 minute for Super Smash Bros Brawl which I've never played.

Not only have I got you beat(?) on play time (I have 128hrs) but I've had the game for a little more than two weeks.
