Will the Pro Controller for the Japanese Wii work on a US Wii?? I really can't think of a reason why it wouldn't because it's not like controllers are region specific, just wanted to see if you guys had any input on it. Here's the link http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-10u-49-en-70-3fe3.html
No Wii peripherals have anything region-specific about them. Feel free to import that and the Taiko Drum Master game (or sequel) with bundled taiko drum controller as well!
it works with my US wiimote perfectly fine. i 'imported' mine from estarland.com since they're based in the US, reducing the shipping time and cost. the total you'll pay there is actually less than it would be for play-asia and you'll get it sooner.
i only have one complaint with the controller itself and that is that the + and - buttons are just poorly placed. nintendo stretched the controller out so the left and right halves are further apart, but left the +, -, and home buttons were left right where they were before in the now-distant middle of the controller. otherwise it's extremely comfortable, definitely more-so than either the 360 or ps3 controllers, and the buttons just feel right. it's so invitingly comfortable that every time i walk by it i find myself picking it up just to hold it for a second, it's weird.
Nice I think I might have to get this then, the classic controller is just way too uncomfortable and I didn't even realize this was out til a couple days ago.
