Well, first off I'm about to leave for class soon. Anyways, I'm not sure what happened but I noticed earlier this morning we had some sort of black out, I didn't hear any thunder, so I know it wasn't lightning...all the electronics were working fine, but noticed the Wii was out....meaning, no light to indicate that it was off or on standby. It was plugged in like everything else, I even tried different sockets and it still won't turn on. Anybody know what happened? You think it's the cord (I hope so...>_>) or the Wii itself? Figured I'll ask around here before hunting for a new cord or sending it to Nintendo. I may look at it some more when I get back from class too, since I don't have much time to toy with it now....hopefully it can be fixed without needing to pay. Thanks guys...

Woah, expected more replies...lol. Actually I never did leave it unplugged that long (nor tried using a non-power strip or surge protector thing), though it is unplugged at the moment (fully unplugged) and I'm eating right now, lol. So I'll let you know if it works or not after I finish eating. If not, I did forget that my dad's parents do have a Wii of their own, thinking about trying their power cord to see if that brings the Wii back...if that doesn't work then I know for sure its the Wii itself...
hugs TBD Thank you!!! :3 lol, tried "resetting the cord" and it works now, yay!
