I was thinking of getting (the wiiware version of course) phoenix wright, but is it just me or do you find the price very high this is due to the fact that on itunes they are selling the game for £2.99 for the full game which would look better on ipod small screen and without the (apparently) bad controls.
Is this game even worth £2.99 please give me your opinions or would you rather play it on wii.

Its a port.

Think of it as a Virtual Console version of a game on a machine not supported by the VC.

It doesn't have bad controls. Just don't go waving the remote around - stick to the buttons. The graphics aren't that bad either, its clearly a port of a handheld game without any graphical enhancements but that didn't bother me.

If you can get it for £2.99 then go for it. Its a good price on the WiiWare IMO but that is a huge bargain for a great story.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

According to this web-site, the WiiWare versions of Phoenix Wright are mediocre turds.

So its worth 1000 points anyway since its a remake, £2.99 seems to be a good price for it. how much are the add-ons is it true that you need add-ons for this game in order to get to the end of the game.

No you don't. Id get the iPod version as it seems quite the same to the DS, it would play alot nicer too.

They are if you're expecting something completely different. They're just ports of a DS game. Accept that and they're still enjoyable.

£2.99 in the Apple store for pretty much the exact same thing that costs £10 in the Wii Shop (actually you get the WiiWare DLC free too, for some reason). Not to mention it was originally worth ~£30 at original retail release on the DS.

Much as I dislike the iPod/Apple Store, you can't really go wrong with chasing the lowest price here.

Get the iPod version. If you like it, buy the rest on WiiWare (or wait for more iPod ports).

What do you mean when you say get the rest on wiiware are you trying to say that you don't get all features on ipod version.

I thought you had to pay for DLC on the wiiware.

No, I'm saying that you should get the rest on WiiWare because you wouldn't have to wait to buy them (I'm not even sure that the last two are coming out on iPod).

EDIT: And there is only one DLC chapter in the first game and it's 100 Wii points for the longest chapter in the series (11+ hours). It's most likely part of the iPod version without having to pay extra.

I got it on the iPod, having never played the DS games. Very impressive, the game has what seems to be the whole DS game, with 5 chapters, each a few hours long. Get it on the iPod, it's much easier to pick up and play than the DS.
