I prefer Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law. They both have the same nonexistent difficulty but at least Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is funny. Buuuuut, I guess if you cant find Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law that generic copycat Pheonix Wright is an ok substitue until you can get Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law.
Joke post, right?
It was a joke where I said Pheonix Wright was a generic copy of Harvey Birdman, it's true that I liked HBAaL better than any of the Pheonix Wright games. These kind of games aren't challenging at all and I prefer the one that makes me laugh.

Wait? arn't both Pheonix Wright and Harvey Birdman games both released by Capcom?
Yeah, that's part of the joke where I say PW is the copy since it came out way before HB.
I just hope that no matter which of the games they choose or even if they get all of them (the Ace Attorney series and Harvey Birdman) these games are fun (but not hard at all) and worth saying "I'll take the case!"

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Monday. Much of my time that day will be spent pretending to be the defense attorney with the coolest first name ever.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
They're not too hard. Just make sure you know you're going to do a lot of reading and making sure you pay attention to what you're reading.

The Ace Attorney series is definitely not hard. There were several times when I wasn't thinking on the same wavelength as Phoenix or Mia and I kept trying the wrong evidence... or sometimes I couldn't figure out the contractidiction at all! But mostly it's a pretty easy series. I don't love these games because of the challenge; I love them because of the characters and story!
Anyone else bothered by the very slight screen flash? There's an option that mentions something about the on-screen flashing reduction filter, but I haven't quite figured out how that works yet.
I'm sure it has to do with it being taken from the DS version, and while it's not too bad, it is a little distracting. (And no, it's not my TV, it's definitely just this one game)

So how much game time is there in the pheonix Wright game? Also is there much difference between the European and US DS games, (because it says in the book that this is based on the European one)?
does anyone know when episode 5 will be available for dl? as i tried to get it right after i got the 1st 4 and it said - it was not available at this time or was no longer available.

In May for 100 points. Can't remember the exact date, but it's in the manual.

I played this and like it alot, but I'm a little dissaported with the controls,They work fine and yes you have that swing things but you don't need it to play the game. You would think the point and click part would allow you to point and click with the Wiimote I end up moving around with the D pad for some reason.

It's just one thing or two in the translation, one example i can remeber it's one of the characters have the UK flag in his clothes, the american translation says it's the "England flag", the european version corrected this to Britain (or UK i don't really remember) flag.
IGN gives PWAA a 6.0 based pretty much on the presentation which is hard to disagree with. You can tell that Capcom did little in the way of converting this from DS to Wii. Beyond that though it's still Phoenix Wright, and the game itself is great one.
