I passed the comment over to Bjorn who then passed it onto the team. I don't know tbh, they're a good team:)
Andy, we ARE looking into MP for the next. It could be viable to do it for PH:RSR but the development for that alone would push the release date back quite some time. The nice thing is now though however, we have a lovely flexible and dynamic engine that we've built from the ground up specifically for the Wii's hardware. As such the development time for the next (I want to say parts but) games will be far quicker and we'll be able to invest more time into implementing such things!
It looks like it will be a solid single player experience, and hopefully you guys can make some more great games in the future with that engine of yours. I think I will have to buy this, but I won't be able to until I get some points and when I'm back home. So not until around April. But I'll be sure to pick it up! It is looking great, could we get a little footage?

Regarding a video, I'm pushing the powers that be to get one out asap, before we send out preview code. It'll then be subbed to Nintendo who'll have to green light it before we're allowed to push it out! All going well, it'll be within the next week or so!
You should do two demos, one where it's an epic trailer of the game and you should also do a "demo" video where you green screen it or whatever and show on screen someone playing the game with all control options and how it works, ala that Josh guy at Wiifolder.com.
I find, for cheap, demo videos are a good way to help people understand how a game plays, it helps break down the horrible WiiWare barrier of "Well I don't want to buy it to find out I don't like how it plays" feeling.

Hardy, definately something we'll look into. Remember though, with developers we have to run everything passed Nintendo before we release it into the wild. NOE/NOA may not like us doing that! A trailer is coming, don't worry.
On a side note, we've hit over 2,000 fans now on the Facebook fanpage! We're all stoked and pleased that so many people have joined. To celebrate we're going to say thank you with something daft tomorrow (if we get the go ahead from NOA/BOE) and no, it's not the trailer.
Wait what? You even have to run Trailers past NIntendo? That's [terrible]! lol Well...Being in marketing I'm aware that they probably just want to make sure you're no "misrepresenting" Nintendo and their products/IP and all the proper info like what system it's on, legal blah blah BLAHHHH
I can't imagine they'd have an issue with doing a green screen showing controls... OR circumvent the rules and get someone else to do it.
EDIT: Even a marketing student like you should know that words are powerful things - terrible when used so insensitively as you just did.
