Topic: No pikmin 3 at E3

one question why not??

My guess is they want to back off for a while and give 3rd parties a chance. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer, though.

They have a developer round table tonight and tomorrow (heard on the RFN podcast)

I think Pikmin 3 is vaporware now.

It's possible a bunch of games will be announced at these dev conferences....
But I really really really think it was a big mistake not to show a bunch of new stuff at the press conference.
Showing actual games gets everyone excited, especially for the Wii U. But instead we got all this cool neat things but nothing that gets everyone truly excited. If anything it got me worried.

Too much on these 3rd party games that are just ports of existing games (as far as we know at this moment)
I think showing Pikmin 3 in the show would have helped a ton. Among other things...

I think we'll see it on both consoles. I'm sure the Wii will continue getting a few games even months after Wii U is released (the DS for example is still getting good games - Kirby, Layton, Okamiden etc), so I don't see why Pikmin shouldn't be one of them.

I was very pissed after seeing the conference because they sounded like Wii didn't even exist anymore, but after seeing the games they announced outside of the conference I'm a bit more positive: Zelda, Kirby, Rhythm Heaven, Mario Party 9, Rayman, Fortune Street...not to mention the ones that haven't been called like Pandora's Tower, Xenoblade and probably The Last Story. It's not bad, is it?

I was so PISSED about this! Don't get me wrong, the show was great and the Wii U looks incredible. I also nearly crapped myself at Luigi's Mansion 2. But the ONE thing I came into this show wanting to see was SOMETHING for Pikmin 3. This is getting really old. I want footage, a screenshot, something!!

Outside of Zelda there is nothing what so ever to look forward to for the Wii.

Not even Xenoblade? That and Skyward Sword may be some of the last Wii games that I purchase. Still need to pick up DKCR at some point

We probably would have seen Pikmin 3 a while ago if it was still a Wii game. I think it's a pretty safe bet that it was moved to Wii U.

Speak for yourself. Other than a handful of older Wii games I still need to put in my collection there's still a handful of new ones too. Like Kirby Wii, Zelda Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, and The Last Story.

Ok, two I forgot about Kirby.

And Fortune Street. I'm surprised that's coming here to the US- then again, Nintendo really wants Dragon Quest to be prominent in the states as it is Japan. Don't forget the Developer's Round Table. We may get some news on Pikmin 3 there. Maybe.

We in the USA also still need the New Play Control Pikmin 2 released that Euroupe has had for a long time.

Yup...its moving to the Wii U...more waiting....grrr...it better look EPIC.
