I think the NPC brand still has some mileage left in it - they just need to go beyond what they've already been offering. For instance, a balance board controlled 1080 Avalanche would perhaps make a good re-release.
The only NPC game I have is Pikmin and really I cannot imagine it any other way -- the control scheme is so good that I was unhappy Little King's Story didn't copy it.
With regard to Chibi-Robo! from the reviews I've read it's actually hurt the gameplay a bit. There's motion controls that aren't needed; the only real benefit I can see is the widescreen display and more flexible seating position offered by the remote+nunchuk combo.
I think the best selling point is just to add widescreen and Wii support to games that are sometimes pricey or hard to find. I'd love to see Doshin the Giant and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance get NPC releases because I just don't want to pay £15+ for a Gamecube title.
Well I got the Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin 2, DK Jungle Beat and Mario Power Tennis in the NPC series. They're all brilliant except maybe Mario Tennis who's advanced controls are awful. Still at its simplest is argueably better than Wii Sports Tennis and Sega Superstar Tennis (which i have sold on).
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."

Path of Radiance would be nice with Radiant Dawnish controls.

[19:48] Ninten: lz, your avatar is weird. [19:48] Ninten: Reggie is like..."Duh, no Mother series for you Americans!" [19:49] lz2010: That was the point Ninten ;)
@Sean Aaron: Funny how Nintendo tends to not tell us Americans when a game was released in Europe as well as Japan. Doshin the Giant, Devil World, and what else, I wonder? Darned annoying, that.
You guys never got Cubivore, huh? I've never played it. Darned thing's kinda rare and pricy, unfortunately.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I have NPC Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, NPC Mario Power Tennis, and NPC Pikmin. I love NPC DK Jungle Beat, but NPC Mario Power Tennis was a mixed game. I have yet to play NPC Pikim, but I need to play it soon. But, where the heck is Pikmin 2? I would love to see NPC games.
Same here, though I've never played either of them and would like to have both of them before starting the first game.
I too would only be interested in a Pikmin 2 NPC. To all you people who would want a Wind Waker NPC, I don't see how it would benefit. Yes, you'd be able to point with the remote for your bow, but then you lose your camera control and you get the greatly satisfying experience of waggling the remote to swing your sword.
NPC games are a good opportunity for Nintendo to promote existing franchises to the Wii masses. Lets face it the Wii is a Gamecube with Motion Controls so it's an easy job to re-publish GC games on a Wii disc.
Ya that is mostly true but most gamecube games have better graphics than the wii games do .
I hope Nintendo gives the New Play Control series more consideration. I'd like to see more GCN and PS2 games ported to the Wii as long as they are done well.
